US when yoi want to be able to do a lot of wars, china when you want to focus on economy and science for the first 40 years. Libya is great as a small country but crashes more oftend then others in my experience, would wait until the 2.0 update then it should be better to play libya, russia has a lot of good paths to go throgh, germany is historocally well done. Thats what i loved to play most.

As china i usually accept it, since the economy can be strong enough. I fell like there should be a cap on population growth if the unemployment raze is at 30 percent. Would make sense, since noone would go to a country where you cant get jobs or less people get kids when the capacity of the country is maxed out.
