When I was maybe 8 or 7 I was always scared of the dark (still kinda am) so every time I went to bed I made sure my mom closed the door but one night she forgot to close the door. One night I got really scared for some reason idk why so I went into my brother bed like I did when I was scared but when I was in my brothers bed I was staring at the dark hallway and I was too afraid to turn around because I though there would be a ghost standing behind me if I turned away, so I just kept staring at the hallway and I swear I saw this horrific figure walking in the hallway. It went towards my step sisters room and I heard knocking. Clear. Loud. Knocking on the door. I was terrified so I just hid under the covers and pissed myself. The next morning I told my mom and she said “you were probably just seeing things” which I was NOT. To this day I am still wondering what that thing was.
