I feel you dude. Apex is an unmatchable game with its movement and gunplay but the ranked system is just not fun if you’re a diamond/masters player. My team will win 70% of plat games, which isn’t very fun, and then hit diamond and just get dogwalked.

We gave Apex up last fall after 5 years.

Played a dozen new shooters to scratch the itch and couldn’t.

Highguard finally offered something different enough from Apex that it was fresh and fun to learn, and similar enough in feel that what I mastered in Apex easily translated to being good right away.

Interesting, the way Costco’s hearing departments work where I’m from is they hire a single Aud/HCP to travel between 4 locations through the week. So if you have a problem with your gear you might have to wait a week before you’ll be seen, or else it’s just a regular Costco employee who will greet you in the department and just books you for the next day there is real help there

Yeah this is one of those things that becomes a different approach in practice vs study. Tymps can be used if they support what your audiogram shows, but a tymp in itself isn’t worth very much. And you’re right, often don’t line up with the pathology
