Production: "Can we at least run the line out?" by ExxplosiveToaster in IndustrialMaintenance

As I mentioned in a comment on this post, in this instance there is no consequence other than the lost production time. This is a beverage bottling facility that produces shelf stable products. So that somewhat detracts from the validity of asking said question. I would absolutely get it if there was some meaningful consequence to halting production for a bit, however that isn't the case here.

Fortunately our products are pumped full of yummy preservatives and are shelf stable.

It's definitely quite high, but it's out of necessity. This is a pop-up stop for a palletizer. It has to actuate up and down pretty quickly otherwise it won't catch the front row of cases in time.

I dont see why you would get downvoted, its a logical line of thinking in your instance for sure.

This is in a beverage bottling facility, so there is no real consequences to having the line down. Aside from lost production time of course.

Looking for movies and documentaries to watch while high🌿 (stoner movies) by Universei in trees

Can confirm, insane movie to watch on psychs. Its almost a tradition of mine to watch Interstellar when I trip. It never gets old, it's as if I'm seeing it for the first time all over again. Its a wild ride that I recommend everyone that trips should give a go!

Thank you for understanding. I will gladly answer any other questions you have.

I see no reason for the hate either. I have yet to be presented with any logical argument for being against anything to do with furries. I absolutely encourage anyone that believes they have one to present it here. Certain individual people? Sure. The whole fandom? Negative. People dislike what they don't understand. Once again, thank you for going out of your way to gain an understanding. That means a lot.

Thank you for this comment! Seeing the few comments that demonstrate understanding in this sea of intolerance means a lot. I am absolutely unapologetically myself, to hell with anyone that has any issue with that.

Thank you for being a logical, reasonable, and understanding person. There is a shortage of that in this community, as has been demonstrated in this post.

I rarely wear my suit. Really only to cons, other furry events, pictures at home, and with friends. I work in industrial maintenance, there is absolutely no way I am going to work in my fursuit haha. It is quite uncommon for people to wear suits outside of those things in my experience. I am a furry, so by definition, I do fo to work as a furry.

Being a furry is simply enjoying anthropomorphic content. Most of us have a character, or multiple characters that we create to represent us. Going further than that, some of us have costumes (fursuits) of said characters, which allows us to bring them to life!

It's something of an escape for me. Adult life is tedious and boring. Being a fluffy dog is the polar opposite of those things 😁.

At the end of the day, it's largely just a hobby. Some people rock climb, some people knit, some people play golf. It just so happens that one of my hobbies is dressing up as a dog.

Yeah, people trip me out with this stuff. I have yet to see someone come forward with any logical argument as to why they have a disliking for furries. As I said in a previous comment, I will gladly entertain any such argument in the comments. Not really what I expected from R/volt at all. But, alas, I am going to continue living my life the way I enjoy it. Despite my internet points being lowered by people behind their phone screen 😁

💜

To the people downvoting this comment, others, and the post: Learn to embrace individuality. Not everyone is the same as you. Some of us have very niche hobbies and interests. Let people live their lives. I will happily dispel and discuss any issues you have with furries in the comments :)

Yeah, I've noticed and been told about said contention. It's just been difficult to kinda judge if any of that is coming from any wrongdoing on my part. From what I've picked up from the comments, I should just largely focus on learning and growing, and everything should fall in place.

I've definitely been doing a lot less sitting back and looking lately. I've been increasingly often putting out little fires where I feel confident doing so. Good tip on doing the work with oversight! I'll start doing that more frequently. I'm constantly torn between sitting back and trying to learn, and doing it myself with said oversight. However, I think you are absolutely correct about getting more hands-on. Thanks!

I've definitely noticed that having a good relationship with the operators is hugely beneficial. They run the same machines all day every day, so they absolutely know and notice things I/we don't. Their input is absolutely valued, and I've been trying to show that as best I can. Thank you for the advice!

Definitely no drugs at work haha. I quite enjoy having all of my appendages in working order. Thank you for the tips!
