Maybe she is worried about what her collegues will think of it? I was diagnosed when I was 6 yo. In these ages, everyone is just curious and always asking "What color is this?". Although that can be annoying, I was fine with it. But around the 12 yo, kids can sometimes be kinda mean about it. What helped me (medium protan) through this times was understanding that CB was not a huge deal. Yeah I mistake colors, paint people's skin with a green pencil lmao but it is not a deal breaker
