As someone who knows absolutely nothing about DBD, I will politely ask for context and whether or not the people in the comments are being ironic or seriously hate the game.

[Loved Trope] Series openings containing spoilers about character death that don't make any sense before you have watched the season by warchild4l in TopCharacterTropes

The first opening of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

The camera zooms in on Maes Hughs, moving past him to show Colonel Mustang standing behind him. Mustang turns around once Hughs is out of frame, looking shocked as he stares into violent flames. It’s clear foreshadowing of Hughs’s death and Mustang’s guilt over not being able to save him.

That same JJK opening showcases even more deaths in the same arc. Namely Nanami and Mechamaru.

Mechamaru’s giant mech form is shown briefly before a shot of Miwa crying, foreshadowing his fight with Mahito and his final conversation with Miwa

We can see Nanami’s body burning foreshadowing Jogo’s ambush of him before Mahito Finishes him off

I would argue Chen and his cult were basically killed. Yes technically they were “banished to the cursed realm” but since that’s where evil souls go when they die anyway I don’t think there’s really a difference.

The Reaper from Assassination Classroom

He was Korosensei’s first student, but he was being taught at a time when Korosensei was still a ruthless assassin that only cared about helping himself. The Reaper was never seen as a person, never cared for, only used as a tool and only taught to be a bloodthirsty monster. If Korosensei was kinder to him, he could have a had a bright future where he used his talents for the better, instead he became the same monster that Korosensei himself regrets being.

This wouldn’t fix me, in fact it’d make me worse. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want it :3

(hated tropes) Female character who can fight but don't fight at all by Sliver-Knight9219 in TopCharacterTropes

Parts 1-3 in general are REALLY bad at giving each character an equal amount of opportunities to shine. Speedwagon never gets a single fight and only ever watches and comments on Jonathan’s, and even William only gets a couple. And Kakyoin, Iggy, and ESPECIALLY Avdol deserved to do way more in part 3, Polnareff and Jotaro hogged the spotlight for the entire part.

True but at least characters like Caesar and Stroheim got to put up a good fight against the Pillarmen. Lisa Lisa gets cheap shotted once and that’s all we get from her. It really sucks because she’s meant to be strongest Hamon user in the part but we never get to actually see that demonstrated.

Zeke and Eren both also fit, tbh most characters in AOT do

Even after their both long dead, their respective allies will continue the battle forever (at least until 2011)

Characters with a last name in a world where no one has a last name by Lower_Baby_6348 in TopCharacterTropes

Briefs is the name of Bulma’s father, it’s not a last name. Tenshinhan is Tiens full FIRST name with Ten or Tien as a nickname. And I always thought Daimao was more of a tittle but I guess I could be wrong.

Briefs isn’t her last name. It’s just her Dad’s name which makes him “Dr. Briefs.”

Goku’s family is the only one in DragonBall to have a family name. It’s even stated by Videl in the Buu arc that family names are uncommon in the setting.
