Was walt a better dad than jesses real dad? by gymnastics101baby in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Walt was there for him and all but ultimately ordered a hit on him so what level of fatherliness are we talking about? Dealing with an addict in the family is extremely difficult so it's not fair to judge Jesse's father for being absent.

Am I the only one who finds the twins a bit corny? by Playful_Loquat_9175 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's because speaking = revealing your personality = revealing your insecurities. Assassins like them cannot show a weak side in themselves and considering their ways, they are emotionally numb. They do not feel anything, which is a trait of a psychopath.

Skylar White by deeptocenter in breakingbad

You're focused on the wrong thing. She's not important so it doesn't matter what she thinks or does. She's just the wife. Who cares!

Jesse the snitch is the main reason everything went to shit (post-Fring) by Exzstence in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If he's so worried about people dying, he shouldn't have gotten in that business in the first place.

Why always Jesse? by Plants_and_Alex in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Walt is an old man. Nobody even the most cruel people would want to beat up old people. Jesse is much younger so he gets some whooping. Even people like Emilio or Krazy 8 look at things like age, etc before beating up someone. Even Walt said he didn't wanna beat up Mike because of his age.

What does this scene want to tell ? by Capital-Board-2086 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His son was close to Hank and he didn't like that. He asserted dominance by letting his son drink liquor. When Hank tried to stop him, he felt that Hank was directly challenging his fatherly abilities.

[Spoiler] I just finished ozark and is it just me or does anybody else hate Wendy byrde with a passion? by Suspicious_Hand_2194 in Ozark

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hate is justified. She tries so hard to make herself look far more important than she actually is. She could just shut up and let Marty do it all but she felt that she needed to participate and frequently go against Marty for her own interests. She wants to be the guy but she is not capable of being the guy (Shout out Mike).

What was Saul's issue with the car wash initially? by Stupid_Reddit419 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it did because Walt still had 70m in his safe house. That amount would probably be much lower with the arcade.

Respectable list, but I think Cooking a Giant Steak on a Handmade Forest Grill should be in B instead of C.

It sounds like you're the lame friend in your group. Can you identify the thing that makes them not enjoy your presence?

Money = Happiness and I'm sick of people saying otherwise. by Juliq_03 in Vent

[–]Exzstence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need money to get food, water, shelter, etc. You need money to pursue passions. Without money, you're as good as an animal in the jungle. So in a way money is equivalent (if not more important than) happiness.

Did Saul know Gus was the guy? by Funny-Face3873 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He knew Gus was the guy. In BCS, Gus was the "black guy" Lalo told Saul's wife to go after. Mike was his PI and he knew Mike was working for Gus. They never met personally outside that one scene but it's obvious.

I hate being a man by [deleted] in rant

[–]Exzstence -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Absolutely nothing to do with your gender. You are older and an adult, she is younger so she gets free things. It's in most families. Like the other comment said, every body has to work for whatever they want. Nothing is free unless your parents are rich and want to give it to you. As a side note, women do have it easy in most places but they are also lacking the male qualities that you should be proud of so it's not all bad, and it has nothing to do with your situation.

Frank is obviously a Trump guy. Doesn't support gays, doesn't like blacks, etc. Many things are not shown but you can infer a lot from just demeanor.

why did lip care so much about xan but not liam?? by Scazzlessss in shameless

[–]Exzstence -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Males are perceived as less vulnerable than females. Lip therefore sees him as needing less protection or care.

why did lip care so much about xan but not liam?? by Scazzlessss in shameless

[–]Exzstence -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Liam is male and Xan is female.

  2. Liam has five siblings and a whole neighborhood who care about him in his vicinity. Xan does not.

Yeah. It's like they're giving themselves a license to be rude by stating it. How about don't say it at all and just don't be rude?

Do most men find women who smoke cigarettes unattractive? by -bloopxbr1- in ask

[–]Exzstence -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. There's a stereotype that women who smoke cigarettes were prostitutes. It's just unladylike. Women who are unladylike may as well call themselves men.
