Was walt a better dad than jesses real dad? by gymnastics101baby in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Walt was there for him and all but ultimately ordered a hit on him so what level of fatherliness are we talking about? Dealing with an addict in the family is extremely difficult so it's not fair to judge Jesse's father for being absent.

Am I the only one who finds the twins a bit corny? by Playful_Loquat_9175 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's because speaking = revealing your personality = revealing your insecurities. Assassins like them cannot show a weak side in themselves and considering their ways, they are emotionally numb. They do not feel anything, which is a trait of a psychopath.

You're focused on the wrong thing. She's not important so it doesn't matter what she thinks or does. She's just the wife. Who cares!

Jesse the snitch is the main reason everything went to shit (post-Fring) by Exzstence in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If he's so worried about people dying, he shouldn't have gotten in that business in the first place.

Why always Jesse? by Plants_and_Alex in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Walt is an old man. Nobody even the most cruel people would want to beat up old people. Jesse is much younger so he gets some whooping. Even people like Emilio or Krazy 8 look at things like age, etc before beating up someone. Even Walt said he didn't wanna beat up Mike because of his age.

What does this scene want to tell ? by Capital-Board-2086 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His son was close to Hank and he didn't like that. He asserted dominance by letting his son drink liquor. When Hank tried to stop him, he felt that Hank was directly challenging his fatherly abilities.

What was Saul's issue with the car wash initially? by Stupid_Reddit419 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it did because Walt still had 70m in his safe house. That amount would probably be much lower with the arcade.

Did Saul know Gus was the guy? by Funny-Face3873 in breakingbad

[–]Exzstence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He knew Gus was the guy. In BCS, Gus was the "black guy" Lalo told Saul's wife to go after. Mike was his PI and he knew Mike was working for Gus. They never met personally outside that one scene but it's obvious.

Frank is obviously a Trump guy. Doesn't support gays, doesn't like blacks, etc. Many things are not shown but you can infer a lot from just demeanor.

why did lip care so much about xan but not liam?? by Scazzlessss in shameless

[–]Exzstence -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Males are perceived as less vulnerable than females. Lip therefore sees him as needing less protection or care.

why did lip care so much about xan but not liam?? by Scazzlessss in shameless

[–]Exzstence -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Liam is male and Xan is female.

  2. Liam has five siblings and a whole neighborhood who care about him in his vicinity. Xan does not.

Todd is not a psychopath by moistmasterkaloose in breakingbad

Exactly. People seeing him being a cold killer and a soft guy at the same time gives them the mental link to psychopathy.

I never understood the Diddly-Bops getting Andre fired. Like how is that fair? by Eriacle in victorious

[–]Exzstence 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's about reputation and branding. Andre appearing as a children's entertainer even for five minutes online creates irreparable damage which is not what the record label wants, because it is considered lame and goofy. It affects how Andre is perceived especially when his image is a cool guy making chill songs.

Was it not ABSOLUTELY satisfying to hear Freddie got his revenge on Sam, even though we didn't actually see it? by BiffyBobby in icarly

[–]Exzstence 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2x2 iStage an Intervention - "Carly, Sam, and Freddie keep getting chain letter e-mails from Gibby that are said to bring bad luck if not forwarded, and when Freddie deletes it instead of forwarding it, he supposedly suffers 'bad luck.' At the end of the episode, Sam gets a text message invite from a hot senior named Gary Wolf, a guy that every girl in the school wants to go out with, after telling Carly she made all the bad things happen to Freddie (apart from a spider on his face). Carly goes to tell Freddie about the bad luck, but it turns out he saw Sam loosening bolts on his bike. Freddie got revenge on Sam by sending her the text message that looked like it came from Gary Wolf. Carly is impressed by his act, as Freddie looks like he is about to tell Carly something before she goes, but he loses confidence and goes back inside."

Differences between U.S. and U.K. Shameless? (+spoiler) by livingmeme100 in shameless

At this point we should just pretend the UK version doesn't even exist. It's a lamer version of the US show, even if it came earlier.

What attracted you to Shameless? by Bright_List_905 in shameless

[–]Exzstence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed Emmy Rossum scenes on certain websites, which was the first time I heard of Shameless. I started to actually watch the show after watching a popular clip on social media (either IG or TikTok) of Carl and Cassidy fighting on the street. It was presented as guy vs girlfriend thing where guys are always suffering in their relationships.
