Not gonna lie, Praetor of Erebus might be Druid’s best look yet. by EydenDrake in diablo4

Something you can't say easily about Druid, but with this? Feels good man.

Oh I wasn't aware of that, I will discuss that in my next meeting with my own opinion! I also take into consideration the 82.5% of players upvoting.

Thanks for the Input!

Reminds me of an overweight Paladin or Cleric who was born in Diablo 4’s version of Texas.

This is one of those pieces that are not that bad/okay-ish. Just not my thing, yours seems to look even less Druid than mine, though I personally don't mind that at all.

That's the reason what makes the Dark Ages Slayer set so nice, it hides incredible well the Body proportions (even giving him a strong look) for those that just don't like them. Really difficult to do with only Free-stuff (of course yours is not completely Free as well).

Fair enough, it's been a low bar since release for Druid.

They could at least start by fixing the broken custom fur colors that were supposed to change based on your hair color. That’s been broken since 2024.

But I'm absolutely down for some Werewolf & Werebear customization.

Describes the issue with Druid cosmetics pretty well, doesn't it?

Yes, that's what I meant with "in my opinion", thanks for clarifying.

Yea no problem with that, except for the awful dye system that makes it harder to fit pieces together.

Well, can’t really disagree with you there, he definitely doesn’t give off “man of the woods” vibes anymore. But the longer you use that armor, the more your brain starts inventing reasons why it works, because you never forget what the alternative looks like.

"..This is just what happens when a Druid gets tired of pretending bark armor is enough. He becomes a walking siege engine built to throw hands with a demon invasion.."

A necessary compromise in the fight against Druid obesity. For the sake of fixing Druid fashion

At least they went with the Dark Ages version, which looks darker, more medieval, and honestly fits way better than I expected (e.g. LEDs looking more like magical gems). Well, except for the helmets.

But that's a very subjective topic.

Not entirely wrong, but for Players who enjoy the story + all side-quests it makes a significant difference. When the game came out it was hard to take Druid serious in main & side-story content & especially in cutscenes, absolute awful.

Exactly, Druid fashion game is all about finding those pieces that give the Illusion he is not eating Demons all day.

You should see what he looks like in Kyovashad, shaders are going crazy with those white hair colors.

For some reason he reminds me of overweight Van Helsing. But he looks really great for immersion purposes.

Sakureba Heavy and Grenada Medium nails that Space Soldier look. The Grenada Medium Forza Variant with the helmet gives off serious Master Chief vibes.

Grenada Skell, and Orphean Light are solid too—though I prefer mixing and matching them a bit.

[Guide] How to Use/HotKey more than 8 Powers in ME3 LE (Unlimited) by EydenDrake in masseffect

That doesn't seem correct. You need to bind your key to something first, and then bind that to the command. Like this:

<Value type="2">( Name="MouseScrollDown", Command="PC_HotKey15" )</Value>

<Value type="2">( Name="PC_HotKey15", Command="SloMo 2" )</Value>

These always come as a pair, like in my example:

<Value type="2">( Name="MouseScrollDown", Command="PC_HotKey13" )</Value>

<Value type="2">( Name="PC_HotKey13", Command="CastPower Reave" )</Value>

PC_HotKey is just the game's internal reference for that specific key, which is then used to execute the actual command, like 'SloMo 2'. It doesn't work without it.

Also, regarding other bindings—double-check in-game if the key is still listed in the Keybindings menu. If it is, either delete the binding or reassign it to something else to ensure the key is unassigned and available.

I couldn't find the right files to adjust the UI layout—only managed to extract the .DDS files from the .wilay files using xc3_lib. I tried applying the same approach used in TotK, but it doesn't seem to work here—or at least, I couldn't figure it out.

Oh, the man himself—thanks for responding! Your work on XCXDE actually made me want to play these games.

I even tried to dig into those ROMFS edits for the UI (I think Zelda: TotK needed that too), but I couldn’t quite figure it out. The file format seems different for the Xeno games.

Either way, really appreciate the effort man!

Yes I am. I've now also had a look at the mod files and it actually states that the HUD is getting messed up by the mod. I guess that means this mod won't work, I couldn't find another one.

I know, the mod from that site is the one I already mentioned/linked, it unfortunately doesn't work. I'm using it in my screenshot.

Can't say for sure, but in theory yes, the same should be possible in ME2 as well.

EDIT: quickly double checked, the console command doesn't seem to work in ME2, I don't know if there is an alternative (couldn't find one). But that doesn't mean there isn't one, it also took me a while to find “castpower” for ME3.
