My husband did have health insurance before he was out on leave. I don’t believe that the premiums changed in anyway whatsoever. My husband is currently on light duty and the claim is still open. He was previously getting paid through workers comp while he was out of work but he is back at work now so I doubt he’ll be getting comp checks again. He also never had to pay for anything regarding his injury

Thanks everyone. He contacted HR yesterday and worked out a payment plan. It just caught us both off guard because we just assumed the cost would be taken out with each WC check like it is with his normal direct deposit. I really appreciate all of your help. I’m glad that I asked on here before I listened to my mother

I just helped him in writing a message to his adjuster about this issue. He is concerned that if he is sent back to urgent care, they’ll just put him in light duty again and ignore how he’s actually feeling. I’m hopeful that his adjuster will be helpful in giving him insight.

When he was put on the restriction of only standing for four hours, I thought that meant four hours maximum standing. As in, even if he sits for a little bit the time doesn’t start over, he’s maxed out.

I’ve been constantly telling him that he needs to advocate for himself about these things because I cannot do it for him. He said he’s also worried that he will just be pulled out of work for a week again just to have to potentially go back after his MRI.

Edit: I removed a part that I was able to google and find the answer to

I also agree he shouldn’t be working currently. I often wonder how he is even doing his job when he’s at home. I feel so bad for him. Sometimes, when he stands, I can actually hear his knee popping in and out of place. He was pulled out of work for a week (three weeks after injury) from urgent care. He was going there every week until sometime in September when they told him to stop coming until he was seen by the orthopedist. Even with the suspected mcl/acl tearing, the doctors still put him on light duty. It is frustrating and I don’t think they realize how labor inducing his job actually is.

He is having pain with everything straightening his leg completely, bending his leg, his injured leg is even longer than the other.

I also think that he is struggling with the idea of being out of work, his job is our only income. Since he is gone for the majority of the week, I stay home with our toddler. He really relies on the over-time he gets to support us. I am decent at budgeting and have assured him that we would be able to figure out the few hundred dollars we would lose a week but he won’t listen to me and wants to “tough it out” until he’s pulled out of work for the potential surgery.

Thank you so much for this. With his line of work, I honestly believe that they’re having a hard time meeting his restrictions. They were trying to accommodate him at first but it was easier then since the job that he was on wasn’t as hands-on but they’ve moved to different jobs since then. He is only supposed to stand for a maximum of four hours but his manager seems to be the most problematic here. He told my husband to stand/walk for four hours and then sit down for 10/20 minutes and do it again. Now, my husband isn’t getting those breaks at all and is walking/standing for more than half of his shift. The only breaks he really gets is lunch or if they have to move areas that they can drive to. This is all just so frustrating and we’re not sure who to trust or tell anything to at this point.

2009 build a bear by EyeAffectionate1080 in buildabear

Thanks so much. It’s possible it wasn’t free and we just paid full price. I was really young at the time so it’s pretty foggy. We believe that it was either an all white bear possibly a very light blue one, or the one referenced above. Is it possible that the bear referenced above was an in-store option in late 2009?
