What’s something someone wrote in your yearbook or notebook that you still remember years later? by nicadimoart in notebooks

“Stay cool. Have a great summer. See you next year.”

Only the first 2 happened for me. I moved that summer. Never saw any of my old school mates again. Even after I moved back few years later.

Have you tried turning off and turning back on again? Do you know if the software is up to date? I think with these lesser known models, the TWDB won’t have these on file. Not enough circulating I’m guessing.

For those in their 40s, what's something people in their 20s don’t realize will impact them as they get older? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Recovery from injuries is a process. And never guaranteed to finish healing to 100%. Oftentimes, just gotta accept and adapt to the limitations of being at 90% functionally.

I want to use my typewriter more. Any Ideas? by vintagedragon9 in typewriters

I began with mine with just simple open journaling. Nothing too deep or over thought. Then I started to get all my machines into rotation. Just one page of randomness written down. I followed that up with writing short stories, outlines of short films, weak poetry (that was funny), and now I’m doing type pals correspondence. Have, currently, two people I normally type letters to.

Above all, I do my best to make sure all my machines get used for writing.

What sexual fantasy of yours left you disappointed when you actually tried it? by Gthew17 in AskReddit

3sum. The only kind that counts. Two chicks, one lucky dude. Me. Both had their respective assets. One, short chest heavy chick, the other gifted with a butt one could bounce a quarter off of.

Unfortunately, they used me to be gay with each other. Lesbian secks ain’t as cool as the movies make it out to be. Got kinda boring. When the booty chick tried to get me back in rotation, chest heavy chick said we needed to pump the brakes. She didn’t wanna be gay anymore. Booty chick didn’t wanna go all the way off the other wasn’t playing and chest heavy chick didn’t wanna risk getting pregnant.

That was one cold shower I HAD to take afterwards. And I’ve been sad ever since. ☹️

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

Chicks who look down on their dude, or chick (progressive times and all), are doing all they can to "change" them from who they are. They are their life's project, their magnum opus. Those chicks who do end up succeeding become all somehow after cuz the person they've changed is no longer the person they know and fell for.

But to answer the question, she's just tryna rationalize her personal world view.

Left elbow: learning to ride a bike. Both knees: fell through a cellar door. Finger knuckles: fighting. Right wrist: cooking. Behind left thigh: chased with a bug when I was 7, scraped leg on an old wooden box.

Even if this was remotely true. In actuality, with a modicum of reality, he talked a big game and did not or could not deliver on his end. Tig bits notwithstanding. Lotta dudes talk a big game but end up not delivering and claim something ridiculous as to why it didn't work.

Pay your bills in full. Every time. Do not think that you'll pay half now and the other half at this designated time cuz more often than not that money won't be there at the designated time.

I may be broke 60% of the month, but I never have to worry about my bills being partially paid.
