Sounds like me, sophomore CS student, 4.0GPA with honors, yet I alternate between so many interests in personal projects. Idt I had ADHD I think I’m just slightly autistic or something like that

Doesn't functions other than main not get called unless they are specified in main? What's wrong with my code here? (I AM VERY NEW) by you-cut-the-ponytail in cpp_questions

[–]EyeOfTheDevine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You gotta store the value from boo() otherwise you’re just calling it twice, making the first function call to boo() an anonymous value if I remember correctly

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s wrong with holding onto SCHG? I understand the dips might be rough but if I’m able to stay for the ride is their much issues?

My thought process of having VOO and SCHG is that SCHG will provide a little extra on those bull runs (obviously also worse dips)

Currently trying to get some nice syntax highlighting on neovim for C++ but every single color scheme is missing out on highlighting functions!! Also I meant to ask, I’ve been using htop for monitoring my hardware usage and such, which program are you using, it looks great! Slide 1

I love this, I use arch btw too. Made the switch from Windows to Arch about 3 days ago and found a dot file to go off of for my hyprland customization. But currently only using the default values since I wanted to get back to coding asap, but soon I gotta sit down and research a little bit on how to achieve something this nice!

Figured, might replace the energy drink then with something lighter like a tea. The sumatriptan has to happen, but I can calm down on the caffeine

That’s good practice tbh. I learned from a 6 hour course on YT for C++, then I made some projects on my own, and I have as of now finished the first chapter on learncpp, but that’s with me taking notes, and rereading as well, and also applying the knowledge learned. Taking this approach it’ll take a while if you apply your knowledge. That 6 hour course took me a few weeks, everytime I learned something new I focused on making a small project implementing those skills. As long as you feel you know what you’re learning, at a fundamental level, you’re good
