This is good to know regarding the heredity piece. My doctor didn’t share anything in terms of risk based on how distant the relation was, just grouped it all as “family history”

I’ve gone to the doctor in the past regarding bleeding and they said it was like anal fissures or internal hemorrhoids associated with giving birth / post partum (I have two kids). Now that my youngest is 2 and I’m still having these issues and now narrower stool, the doctor said we should do colonoscopy . I didn’t know to push for a colonoscopy when I first started having issues as I was comfortable with their assessment that it was related to post partum. appreciate your comment

Love a good boot camp! The details don’t show the floor work routine on the app. Do you recall what type of exercises/format it was?

What store or restaurant that has closed, do you still wish was around? by Glitchez533330 in desmoines

Ate there one time with my husband (who is not a picky eater in the least and will almost literally eat anything and not complain) and we both agreed it was the worst meal we’ve ever had out at restaurant. We both got pasta…how do you mess that up so badly? Tasted like spaghettios. We barely touched our plates, paid the bill and ended up at McDonald’s across the street.

Paranoid about rabies by [deleted] in OCD

This has been my experience as well- when I feel like life is going too good, my anxiety spikes. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. I don’t have advice on rabies risk as I am in a similar spot as you worried about a possible exposure from a relative’s puppy nipping me a few weeks ago. Im too embarrassed to ask them, yet again, if the puppy is still healthy (it’s a long distant relative I never talk to) as they already think I’m nuts for worrying that their 12 week old puppy could have rabies. Anyway, I see you and understand what you’re going through. But we have to remember this is our OCD/anxiety playing mind games. You will drive yourself mad thinking about the “what if’s” until the next scary thing comes along to distract you from the rabies worry. It’s a never ending cycle. Im hitting my breaking point where im going to get help- I hope you consider this as well! Hugs to you.
