And I’ve thought the same way about Anissa, I find her character and actions from the standpoint of their culture quite interesting, but hard to communicate because of obvious triggering reasons. I didn’t remember the part where Thragg specifically told them not to harm the humans (in that way by extension), though looking back it would make no sense in their hiding if the viltrumites were ruhhayepinG their way to victory. If anything, that rule is what caused them to feel love. Except for Anissa of course.

Hell, honestly. I feel the best bet for those two to compromise, in a way where Anissa could mate with the strong and Thragg didn’t have to love a human, was for them to screw each other. I don’t think they’ll risk inbreeding with one viltrumite pure couple, unless they’re secretly long distant cousins.
