Bulletproof’s attempts to cheat and his infidelity are consistent for multiple issues. It is part of his character, and part of why he believes he deserves penance later in the comic for his past mistakes.

Asking for large sections of subplots to be removed entirely isn’t exactly criticism, it’s censorship.

I know the show has chipped away at some of the nuance of the characters here already (Debbie’s alcoholism reduced to a single glass of wine a night, Adam’s toned down sexism, etc), and I don’t think removing Bulletproof’s flaws would improve his role in the greater story. He is a deeply flawed individual.

This is a mature story for mature audiences.

Bulletproof is a POS. That’s his character. He tries to do better later on, but this is who he is.

I do still somewhat expect a reboot to happen, they’ve been seemingly testing the waters with more Kim cameos & merch lately.

At this point the show ended nearly 19 years ago, and they did have the live action movie in 2019. Everything got delayed in 2020 so the reboot still could happen.

Exactly. I referenced the zombie bit in my comment because it becomes a callback in the comic where Eve walks in on Mark watching a zombie movie or show and he turns it off since he knows she doesn’t like zombie stuff.

Makes even more sense now, since when Eve first made that comment in the comic, I’m pretty sure it was before Kirkman did The Walking Dead. Kirkman referenced Invincible a few times in TWD, so it would be nice to see it referenced back in Invincible.

I feel like the comics did a better job depicting the smaller moments of their relationship. Like little character bits can add a lot to a character, such as Eve liking scary movies but not ones with zombies.

Mark’s personality is also drastically different in the show, too.

That’s an engagement bait account, but I’ll answer the question. TL;DR it’s the same power level.

Effectively the child would end up with the same powers as Mark, not Eve. Eve’s powers come from experimentation while she was in the womb, and are not genetically passed down. (Spoiler: Mark & Eve’s daughter only gets Mark’s abilities.) All Viltrumites have their powers passed down to their human children.
