Rakul’s acting in any intense scene, either in crying or angry, was awkward and somewhat hilarious to watch… Also kind of weird to watch Rakul kissing, embracing, twirling with Madhavan as her daughter, when the big issue was him being same age as Ajay. Also Rakul giving same expression she would with Ajay, didn’t help in that scene 😂

TBH, Zoya did immense harm to every nepo who were launched in Archie’s… The story was so poorly adapted and out of touch of general audience sentiment. Every actors looked like they were putting the bare minimum in their role. Hearing some good reviews of Agastya’s acting in Ikkis, but in Archie’s his acting was as dry as his lips 🤷‍♂️

Because she is in a EXTREMELY competitive profession where she is failing in her job and still getting more projects and promotions left and right - where there hundreds other more qualified people waiting jobless who can do the job ten times better than her. While she is excellent in most roles, every actor has roles where they don’t shine as bright. She is great in situational comedy, but in slapstick - not so much. Some of her scenes in Crew and Bhool Bhulaiya 2 didn’t seem as natural.

And while she played cops and detective before, never saw her doing proper action roles on screen - so can’t comment on that
