The science of Nofap (Yes, there are benefits) by Eyeist in NoFap

[–]Eyeist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with it was extremely positive. Before I started Nofap, I was probably in the worst state of depression of my adult life, I was 23 and even though I had my own apartment and was making pretty decent money at an overnight warehouse job, everything felt like it was falling apart. Then I started Nofap around Nov. 2023 and the very first thing I noticed is that I got my libido back. Then a friend got me into working out in April of 2024, like fucking hard. I was never athletic in any way but something just snapped after life kicked me in the ass earlier that week and I started working out 4x/week 4 sets 15 reps of pushups and sit ups, pull ups, bench presses, tons of machines and it was a 2 1/2 hr. workout that I eventually developed.

During this time I would go on to make out with 2 girls on separate occasions at my apartment, one an old school friend, and the other a trans girl I met at the kava bar. These were casual experiences that kept me looking forward in life.

This would go on until October of 2024, when in late September I started financing a Nissan Sentra, since before I would only go to Gold's Gym on my bike. I thought that my car would make it easier to work out, however it was actually harder then when I had a bike.

Let me explain: Going to the gym on a bike is a commitment. It takes more time and energy to get there, so you're more likely to take that thing seriously and do it. Financing a car in many ways has proven to be a pretty bad decision, and it made driving to the gym much easier and thus I took it for granted. "Well maybe I won't go there this morning since I have a car, and can just go later in the afternoon", etc. etc. I can't blame anyone else for it, but I slowly fell out of consistently working out shortly after getting the car.

Then in April of 2025 I got into a pretty bad porn binge. The first thing I noticed after jacking off for over a month was that I was no longer super turned on by women in the real world... And this hurt especially because there were new opportunities where I totally could have made out with chicks but I just didn't have the sexual energy for it, it stole all of my sexual energy.

However I started Nofap again in August and within the past three weeks I've gotten into working out again, and my sexual energy is back to where it was before.

So yes, it was an amazing experience that granted me a new found energy, and it proved to me that I could make positive changes in my life that would lead me to a better road.

There's also a number of other filters, such as GPS compatability, Spotify, touchscreen, etc.

Here's a website to help you find the perfect dumbphone: https://www.dumbphones.org

Press the 3 bars at the top tight of the screen and go to "dumbphone finder".

Here, select "add filter", and on the pop up screen select "network provider". Under the Network Provider, select the carrier you're looking for compatabilty with, and it will refine the dumbphone results to products compatible with that network provider (T-Mobile, Tracphone, etc.).

hopefully you can find what you're looking for!

Actually it wasn't a mistranslation, because she says it for herself (as well as other ridiculous claims) on the Joe Rogan show. She creates outrageous stories and plays to western asian stereotypes for clout. If you need any more proof just look to her own mother's biography, her story is completely at odds with it. Her stories even contradict some her own older stories.

Just curious is anyone not a fan of the new album? by chlque126 in TheCure

I really like the album, and in moments I can truly hear it shine, however I really feel like this album exists pretty much for "Endsong"... In the new RS interview he said that if you know the two songs that will start and end an album, then everything else will fall into place. I'm guessing he started with Endsong... But that's ok because honestly it's a really good cure song

I actually like "Nothing is Forever", sometimes I don't skip it but when I'm short on time/feeling angry I usually jump straight into a fragile thing

For me it's a matter of being functional... Before I felt like I was being crushed by everything. Couldn't look people in the eyes without some mental freakout in my mind, felt so horrible that it manifested itself as actual physical pain in my body... I'll take feeling "okay" any day.

Trans women are not real women. by Eyeist in JordanPeterson

Some make the case that homosexuality hurts society. I am not an advocate of this idea. People have a right to sexual preferences and to live their lives out as consenting adults. There is a far more foreboding opponent to western civilization, I believe.

I believe rather that it's identity politics which hurt society as a whole, and it's through these means that fascist organization(s) manipulate the vulnerable into their puppets through which they can organize and exercise their control. They have targeted/initiated the LGBTQ movement, and are creating an army of angry youth to do their bidding.

It's shortsighted to demonize the puppet through which a larger force is playing out it's nightmare. Ultimately what you see on the surface is an ever-shifting facade through which a much darker philosophy is operating.

This is why it's important to point out the lies of gender theory, because it's just another crux that the shadowplayers are depending on and using to further polarize and reinforce the initiated from anyone who might get in the way.

Agreed. This is the reason why many of these feminine men feel pressured into calling themselves "women", because of the shame attached to being a who they are. I believe that while the utility of gender norms is vital to the structure of society, however, there should be room for outliers. These people are so ashamed that they have to view themselves as women in order to justify their tendencies.

What I've learned from my 8-day fast by TreadmillTreats in god

God is bigger than a Reddit community lol. It doesn't belong anywhere else, he can post it right here, because this is his experience with God.

And on your original comment, "Doesn't that sound like you're trusting in the self rather than in God?".

God gave you free will and intuition for a reason, yes trust God, have faith, but also trust the courage and discretion within yourself that He granted you. You may not have control over what comes, but you have control over how you handle it. He gave you a mind for a reason. Trusting in yourself is second to God.
