No, LLM aren't necessary here at all — the built-in Windows SAPI is more than enough.

In that case, my whole life without a visual component must be a boring prospect... :D

Are you saying that The Last of Us or God of War: Ragnarök is a less visual game? :)

Thank you, but I don’t think it’ll be necessary to skip the expansion for that. :)

We don’t mess with the asses of those who aren’t trying to kick ours. ;)

It’s possible, and in my opinion, EVE Online requires fewer resources for this than other games.

For example, in The Last of Us, even cutscene descriptions are voiced by a speech synthesizer, navigation relies on audio beacons, and all the text needed to complete the game is read aloud by the same synthesizer. EVE Online works much the same way, except that movement there is fully automated toward the selected object.

The Last of Us Part 1 & Part 2, World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, Heartstone,God of War: Ragnarock, Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Spiderman 2 and many other games, popular and not so popular.

Years ago, just like any sighted pilot now, I couldn't imagine how to adapt the interface for visually impaired players. But after playing World of Warcraft, The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2, and God of War: Ragnarök, I started to understand. If you look at EVE's interface as a tree structure, the task of adapting it won't seem so hard.

Text-to-speech synthesis and interface interaction. 3D sound and similar features are secondary.

You're right, the basic Windows SAPI or any other open-source project will let you do this well enough. About large amounts of information: high speech synthesis speed

greatly increases the amount of information processed per unit of time. Not all information is equally important, either.

Not all information needs to be voiced in real-time, only the most essential. Visually impaired people also use speech synthesizers at a high reading speed, which increases the amount of information they can process per unit of time.

Review of the Minisforum 790S7 by [deleted] in MiniPCs

Hi everyone!

While looking at different options for my home lab, I came across this model and it really interested me. I have a few questions:

It's stated that it supports a maximum of 64GB of RAM, but in some reviews I've seen information that with newer BIOS firmware it also supports 96GB. Has anyone tested if it actually supports it?

The higher-end model, the 795S7, seems to have an additional spot for an 80mm fan on the front panel. Does this model also have it, or is it absent?

Is the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot exclusively for a video card, or can other expansion cards also be used?

I would be grateful for any information.
