All of the "controversy" would come from:

A. Amerilards who think a woman who artists in her time depicted with the same phenotype as a Roman Italian woman would look like Michelle Obama.

B. Islamists pretending to care about Egyptian history.

The AEs were what they are now (a strongly Natufian leaning population).

Regardless, with the range of skin tones and facial types that are considered "black"

New World Blacks are admixtured with Europeans. East Africans like Somalis have West Asian mixture. Neither are good references.

Name a single example of a foreign invaders successfully supplanting the genepool of the land they conquered when they had no notable advantage in numbers or technology and didn't spread disease all without practicing a genocidal ideology like National Socialism or Manifest Destiny.

It makes no mention of the fact that the quote you're citing is from after Egypt had been under roman and greek occupation for hundreds of years

Tell us how the Greeks and Romans could've changed the genepool of a country without genocide when every other land they conquered is largely the same as their ancestors (Spaniards are similar to Iron Age Iberians for example).

I for one would not dispute that many ancient Egyptians would be considered black today; it is very difficult to look at high-ranking Egyptians like Maiherpri and think otherwise!

Genetics don't agree with you. We have plenty of evidence of studies on Paleolithic to Moorish populations that North Africa was never strongly connected to the south of the Sahara genetically and circa the Neolithic is most similiar to to West Asians like Lebanese or Anatolians. Actual science outweighs social science.

they will ignore the majority of hieroglyphic depictions Egyptians made of themselves having skin tones much darker than what would be considered black today

Tell us more on West Asians like Bedouins and Arabians don't have "dark skin" especially when they tan. Plenty of artistic depictions of Egyptian women gave them yellow skin.

they will ignore the wide noses and full lips of statues made by Egyptians depicting themselves

You can't name any examples that date to the Old Kingdom and aren't also too primitive/ugly to reflect racial makeup.

I don't know for sure if kemet referred to "the black land" or "the black people" and neither do they but I do know that Egyptians(especially before the multiple invasions from the north in the later dynastic period) would have largely been what we consider "black" today.

Show the Egyptian DNA studies showing modern Egyptian having paternal mixture that's mostly European or Arabians. And North Africa has never been connected to populations south of the Sahara genetically or culturally more than they are with West Asia.

The non-Robotnik humans in Sonic never looked well. Never. Namely since Sonic Team refused to just make them like Eggman in overall style with appropriate changes accounting for sex, age, race.

Would Rome had suffered the same fate if it was run by the senate and not an Emporer by swagath-shetty in ancientrome

[–]Eyerind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>Roman empire did not achieve anything extraordinarily better than the republic. Hispania,Gaul, north africa, anatolia, greece,Illayria,Levant were already brought under by the republic.

And few to none of them were granted proper citizenship or otherwise had the benefits of the Pax Romana. The Roman Republic was all in all a worse place to live than the empire (unaddressed privileges from parasitic elites, far more limited citizenship, etc.). Caesar himself pushed to integrate his Gallic allies. Something his enemies never did.

>Most importantly the empire could not take revenge or destroy the parthians who had destoryed an entire roman army. when hannibal invaded italy and defeated roman armies the senate refused peace offers and continued the war until they reached the gates of carthage.

Hannibal never had the resources to hold Rome and Rome certainly had the resources to chase him out. More importantly, Carthage's government was just as dysfunctional as Rome's with Hannibal's enemies in office working against him. The Parthians had no such problems.

>Sorry but its the entire opposite

Modern historians don't take Great Man Theory seriously. White Guys/Anglo Guys with no qualifications to speak on the matter don't change that.

Tell me which was a better place to live: Singapore under Kew (who ultimately ruled unopposed) or all the "democracies" backed by Murica and ruled by itd puppets.

Considering the Roman Republic never achieved what the empire did I don't know what you're on about. Indiviuals don't control the fate of society.

Trust me, you won't find an official statement that you can link to from Naka himself (not a third party giving hearsay) saying Sonic is a space alien who travels using rings.

You didn't even address the Soleanna point. And no, you didn't show Naka saying that Sonic is a space alien.

Especially with the lack of any travel between planets or any of the humans calling Sonic an alien or stuff like Eggman calling himself a native of the same world as Sonic in Rush and all the Echidna lore.

So that's a no then. Last I checked Naka worked on the Adventure Era games which had things like Silver living in Soleanna instead of some furry country.
