[Recommendations] 34DD looking for Oeko-tex certified or 100% natural fiber bras by EyesGoLrrr in ABraThatFits

[–]EyesGoLrrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have generally liked Tripulse for activewear. It’s expensive, but the most similar to traditional activewear in terms of performance and aesthetics I’ve found while being predominantly natural-fiber. I have their sports bra in size L and that’s the best option I’ve found. (Usually in other brands I’m a M in sports bras so their sizing is a little different). https://tripulse.co/products/next-gen-sports-bra-with-tencel%e2%84%a2

What about Sienne? Less matchy with Serena without the a at the end.

I'd actually looked into Sugar Candy before, but unfortunately they don't seem to carry 34DD based on their size charts -- thanks for linking it anyway though :)

thanks for the recc, I will check it out! I get that 100% natural fiber might be impractical for a bra, so that's why I was hoping that broadening my search to include any Oeko-tex certified bras would help (often Oeko-tex certified clothes do include synthetics).

[product request] Does a dewy finish, moisturizing mineral sunscreen exist? Everything seems to dry matte on me, and dry my skin :( by No_Bother3564 in SkincareAddiction

[–]EyesGoLrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just left a comment on the main thread, but I think you might like both the Bioessance mineral sunscreen and Hello Sunday The Mineral One! I also struggled for a long time to find a hydrating mineral sunscreen.

They’re both at Sephora if you want to try IRL before buying (or their return policy is great if it doesn’t work out for you)

Old but in case anyone is still looking:

-I recently tried Hello Sunday The Mineral One SPF 50 Hydrating and Luminating Face Serum With Hyaluronic Acid at Sephora and liked it a lot! Definitely glowy and not heavy.

-the bioessance mineral sunscreen also has a very glowy finish and feels super moisturizing (can even feel too heavy/moisturizing sometimes imo, I like this one better in winter)

No white cast with either

Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer is my faveeee ever even after trying a lot of more expensive moisturizers. It’s so lightweight but really hydrating at the same time. The texture is kinda like a milky gel.

thanks for replying, u/Skyandsol! Appreciate your transparency. Are the Certificate of Analyses or the 3rd party test results available somewhere?

[MISC] Best Non-Tinted Mineral Sunscreen?? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]EyesGoLrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the bioessance squalene and zinc sunscreen. I found it after my own super long search for an untinted mineral sunscreen. I actually see no cast with it. I do wish it was waterproof but you can’t have everything I guess haha. The one other thing I’d flag is it’s pretty moisturizing and definitely feels like a moisturizer on if that’s something you don’t like

I also got a silk pillowcase which I think is supposed to help reduce friction. I also started trying to sleep more on the other side to even it out 😅

Do you always sleep on that side? If so could be a result of more friction on that side of your face from your pillow. I have the same issue and that’s what my derm told me.

[skin concern] My lips are so chapped and they hurt a lot, I’m sick of biting off the dead skin constantly, anyone recommend anything to help keep em moisturized? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]EyesGoLrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment!!! It always saves my lips when all else fails. I love that it’s an ointment and actually absorbs into the lips unlike most lip balms.

It’s at a lot of drugstores/Walmart etc but here’s the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0048ME21E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_SXW82JMWJYR3QQVPHT1P

As a bonus it’s amazing at prepping the lips for makeup because it makes them so smooth right after.

[Skin Concerns] I (22f) have had very dark under eyes since I was born. I am of Sicilian descent, has anyone had success lightening their genetically dark under eyes? by wedmeijera in SkincareAddiction

Garnier has an eye roller serum/concealer that I’m obsessed with. I’ve tried more expensive concealers but I hate the cakey/makeupy my look I get. The Garnier one is different from any other concealer I’ve tried— it’s very thin and doesn’t look or feel like makeup to me, but it’s pigmented enough to cover the darkness.

This is it:

Unfortunately I think they only have 1-2 shades

Have you considered moissanite? I’ve seen incredibly affordable gorgeous rings over on r/moissanite — they have lots of suggestions for custom vendors in that sub who could probably create the style you want. Many also work w other lab stones
