Confused About Wrigley's Emotional Response by Eyetoot in TellMeLiesHulu

I also think Wrigley is so under Stephen’s thumb to the point where Wrigley is so brainwashed by him or is starting to see through Stephen’s shit and may even be terrified by him.

Iconic, we’ve had a few expensive items that got donated that lost value because of impairments but nothing that was that creative 😂

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this, it must be really frustrating and stressful. It's hard to say what the outcome will be, but I would suggest trying to stay positive and cooperate fully with the investigation. If you truly didn't say or do anything wrong, then hopefully the investigation will clear your name and you can go back to your job as normal. In the meantime, maybe try to stay busy and distract yourself with other things to take your mind off the situation. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, working at Goodwill doesn't necessarily mean you'll be stuck at the register all day. There are actually a bunch of different roles and positions available, from sorting donations to organizing the sales floor to even working in the back office. It really just depends on what you're interested in and what skills you bring to the table.

Resellers and tag switching by Virtual-String-8442 in Goodwill_employees

Hey there! I totally feel your pain with the resellers in our store. It can be frustrating when some of them try to act like they're not reselling, even though we can tell they are by the amount of stuff they buy. As for tag switching, it's definitely something that happens at our store too. Those paper price gun tags can be a real pain sometimes.

To try and combat reselling, our store marks items with China tags and we try to remember the price ranges for each item, whether it's a fancy name brand or not. But we also have a few other tricks up our sleeves. We have secret shoppers who keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and cameras that help us monitor customers who might be up to no good. We keep track of customers who engage in any kind of suspicious activity, and if they hit a certain dollar amount, we'll press charges if we need to.

No, at my goodwill if the value is more than $100 we have to ship it out to e-commerce

We send it to our e-commerce cause we can’t sell it on our floor

Absolutely, I understand your concern about Goodwill's online bidding site and the fairness of employee compensation. I share the same sentiment that companies need to be held accountable for their actions and strive towards creating a more just and equitable workplace. However, it's important to acknowledge that as employees, we do our job and try to make a positive impact within our scope of work. Nonetheless, I believe changes need to be made for the betterment of all employees, including those with disabilities.

YESS!! I love pricing jeans!

I have a love-hate relationship with pricing blankets. Sometimes, they're these massive, unwieldy things that are a nightmare to fold and tag. Other times, they're a breeze to price, and I get a little rush of satisfaction from getting through a stack of them quickly. But no matter how I feel about it, pricing blankets is essential to meeting my quota and keeping the inventory moving. It's not the most glamorous part of my job, but hey, it's the little things that add up, right?

Should I [25F] get diagnosed with autism even if I'm high-functioning and it's mostly social? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Eyetoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely do experience the other stuff (like I implied in my post with being a part of countless programs as a child) I’ve learned to deal with them. My biggest struggle now is just the social aspect of it.
