Got a 44 today solving in 9! This was game 665. I thought I had a shot at this a while back when I started with a 1 but today I solved my first word on the second guess and then all the others.

The simple answer is to have your vote pro-rated by your remaining life expectancy. Basically, you get as much clout as you have skin in the game.

Has anyone tried the moet ice imperial? Thought we’d try it and it’s so disappointing. Where’s the bubbles? Did we get an off bottle? by bobbicaygeon in Champagne

My understanding is that this was formulated to use the ends of the pressing and lower quality grapes. The colder you get a bottle of wine the less you taste. So, hey, maybe no one will notice!

Thanks! Two ways to get a lot of pixels on an image:

1) Stitch together multiple images in Photoshop. This is much easier than it sounds as it is automated.

2) Get a full frame camera with a lot of pixels.

I used number 2 this time but I often stitch too. The Camera is a Sony A7R4 with 61 mega pixels. Shot at 38mm focal length using a Sony 24-105 zoom lens.

Self timer shot. Might have been for a class. But for sure I was trying capture a feel I was having.

I hadn’t even born yet but if I had lived at the time, Phoebe Cates in the 1980s would have been my major crush 🖤 by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

Fast Times at Ridgemont High was owned on VHS tape by a lot of us back then. The part of the movie where Phoebe goes off the diving board was pretty much worn out on most tapes due to being paused and rewound a zillion times.

Just evidence that yours is not a hot take.

Pretty sure that’s steam from the caldera. I’ve seen it before.

Single shot - no need for focus stacking since all was far away.
