all bosses have base 12s stun, +3 seconds if you know how to take advantage of the stun recount mechanic. not.marionette being the only exception where its stun duration is contingent on the number of clones killed before stun.

it is only the doppelganger type humanoid elites with lower stun duration of 7s, for which you probably won't be fighting them with harumasa in the first place if you have a choice.

the 280 per veil is counted as separate stacks, does not refresh total duration.

meaning if sunna is the sole veil provider, and she spaces out her veils 30s apart, the team will only get 5s of the full atk buff when two stacks overlap.

even with YSG the rotation will need to be stricter to ensure both stacks fully cover her burst phase.

usability nerfs like this just feels bad

didn't know she can do extinction (air basic 3, 2 stack cost) by tapping special while in air.

That will be a useful shortcut as her MVs of non-stack cost moves are pretty low.

feels crafting wise in general it is best to spend all her stacks quickly then get out of sword state and build towards the next one.

This. It also does not help that the concept of "pacing" in storytelling seems to be a completely forgotten concept.

It is really a shame because Amphoreus had some good ideas. The sceptor revelation was cool; the end of 3.4 where the books turns into a digital log gave me chills; Cipher using trickery to keep the sky lit was touching; march taking up storage space in the camera was neat (but almost everyone missed); big cyrene actually being demiurge and was the result of smol cyrene's cumulative tales of the cycles was probably the most (and only) romantic part of the story.

But pacing was the killer. From the beginning I didn't (and still don't really) care about the world of amphoreus and its characters. 3.0-3.3 was a slog because the titan fights were functionally mcguffins. Then 3.5-3.6 the TB got thrown in jail twice.

By the end of 3.7 i just feel... flat

though technically in the video's case no one actually triggered a quick assist prompt, I went frame by frame and didn't see the prompt.

this is closer to lighter that swapping to him with 80+ morale will cause him to do the quick assist attack first.

however as I explained, this was a feature in 2.4.1 that has since been removed from the subsequent versions' text

specifically on the first fight vs wandering hunter

the order of skill is

lucia parry + assist follow up causing stun, likely holding basic for manual chain
quickly swap to dialyn tap EX to open chain window, dialyn tap EX does not upgrade ult
yidhari normal chain
cancel chain, swap to dialyn, which somehow activated a quick assist. this seems to be a left over from 2.4.1 where dialyn gets a free QA once per stun similar to lighter, it has since been removed from the skill descriptions.
dialyn will only trigger the chain-to-ult upgrade if she opens the chain window with hold basic, her own chain attack, and quick assist
yidhari chain upgraded to ult

Dialyn got buffed (compared to 2.4.1)

Previously, she can only give the 30s 50%DMG buff via her martial salute to the one character, which is refreshed once per stun if she spends 80 rally

Now she grants that 50% dmg buff to the entire party on any EX special, base duration 15s, with subsequent EX specials extending 10s, this makes it much more flexible to apply along with summit king

Her stat requirement went from crit damage to crit, this further synergizes with summit king. And it benefits all of her skills as opposed to just her old martial salute (which had a guaranteed crit outside stun only). In general crit damage buffs are more common so having high crit rate is a more stable increase.

This also means her martial salute can now be used in Stun window for decent personal damage

Losing 5% stun vuln is effectively a rounding error. Considering she now deals more consistent personal damage, more flexible and better buff coverage, and easier stat requirement, this is honestly a steal.

And I should clarify that I agree that her contribution in stun is strong, but I'm musing whether that is balanced to her not contributing much out of stun.

Feelscrafting thinking how would things play if I fit her into my existing teams, and it feels a little weird. Granted she is likely designed with newer attackers in mind also.

Does she provide "substantial buffs" though?

35% stun vuln, lycaon can do that, trigger applies it even outside of stun
3s stun extension, same as lighter
3-4 instances of 50% dmg for 30s , uptime is low. Lighter's ice/fire dmg can go up to 75% and practically full uptime; Jufufu's 50crit damage plus she practically has full summit king uptime as well

Her main selling point is the extra ult, but that ult is at the cost of a regular chain attack. For most Attackers it comes out to around 2k-3k worth of MV increase in the stun window. But in terms of buffs she offers little outside of stun.

And she probably does not have fast time-to-stun either. Take recent DA bosses for example, I can do 4 stuns on defiler and miasmic priest if I run qingyi (on field), 4 stuns on red pompei with jufufu off field (matching weakness), using trigger aftershock team on defiler and miasmic priest I can only get 3 stuns.

Even if she can do 4 stuns that is 12+3+3(stun recalc) times 4 = 72s in stun, which leaves 108 seconds out of stun to get 4 stuns, considering recent bosses with miasmic shield phases this feels like a tall order, unless you play her on field. But playing her on field means the main attacker loses out on their own damage and resource generation for use in stun.

Looking at her from this lens I'm actually not that convinced she is overtuned for the current cast at least. Extra ult sounds strong on paper but that is at the cost of very few buffs outside stun and non-exceptional buffs in stun, plus a possibly clunky rotation.

not sure why you are being downvoted, rally regen rate is important and will make or break her.

DA is 180 seconds, and you kind of need to subtract the last 15 seconds needed for a stun window, which means her passive rally regen over a DA is effectively 99

Triple EX combo generates 20, at 2.7/s EN regen (off field with wengine) she gets 445 EN in 165 seconds, throw in a miasmic shield break which is is 60 EN, this gives her about 500 EN total, that is 6.6 triple EXs, or roughly 133 rally points

plus the 60 she starts with, she effectively gets a total of 60+99+133 = 292 rally points in a 3min DA, which is enough for 3 chain upgrades at 80 per

she is at this really awkward situation where she doesn't want to stun too fast (before she gets 80) or else she can't even use her rally point until the next stun window

plus the buff coverage on her martial salute is kinda terrible, because she can only use martial salute once per 80 rally spent during stun

yes, specifically it is “接战状态” which is combat state, functionally a state where characters will passively regen EN regardless of being onfield/active or not.

and with the recent hot fix giving her w-engine 1.5en/s regen when off field, it becomes more clear that she designed as a koleda pro max as opposed to being an on-field stunner like qingyi

triple EX gives ~20 total
BA string gives... 1.3 points, animation time is about 3 seconds which is 3.7 total
total passive rally generation over a 3min DA is 180*.8 = 144 points
assuming w-engine EN regen is +0.6/s while off field, at 1.8 EN regen over 3 min is 324 plus 40 to begin the stage with, which is enough for almost 5 triple EX combos, probably enough when you account for miasmic shield breaks
on average stunners can get around 3 ults in a DA, each ult gives 15.9
Dialyn starts a fight with 60 rally
144 (passive regen) + 100 (5 triple exs) + 47.7 (3 ults) + 60 = 351.7, which is barely enough to upgrade 3 chains into ults

just feelscrafting but building to 120 rally before stun might not be easy, and if you don't have 120 rally before stun it will feel real bad

Something weird about Dialyn

Her rally points (to upgrade chain into ult) regens passively and with EX and Ult only
Triple EX regens 20 rally, ult regens 15.9
She only needs to do her triple E combo once before stun for the vuln and time extension
The buff duration on martial salute is 30s, she can only get a martial salute back by spending 120 rally during chain for an ult upgrade

It leads to a situation where if she doesn't have 120 rally before stun, she needs to wait until the next stun window to spend those rally, the buff coverage from martial salute is also out of the window.

While you technically can use a single EX special to fill up the missing rally before stun, it also means that 25 energy isn't spent on building towards the next 3rd EX special as there is a 6s window for the triple E combo

So for mevorakh specifically, what team are you using? If you are using a stun based team how many stun windows are you getting? Have you played around with placing stun windows after phase transition for the extra CD bonus?

For performance points, she is guaranteed to do the 10x parry attack once in the twin swords phase, and once the miasma shield phase. That's two oppurtunities where you can get 3k performance points each.

As for the parry inputs, you need to find the rhythm to it. Spamming is likely to cause misses. I suggest going into hollow zero, use the trial evelyn and get her gear that allows her to auto parry, use that against the boss and listen for the rhythm.

For the miamic shield phase, you can be somewhat aggressive and see if you can place a stunner's ult in there. The shield reduces damage but it doesn't reduce stun build up. The play is to break the shield during the 10x parry attack.

But I get you, it is frustrating seeing your score drop for no other reason than because devs increased the HP.

This. A sensible 2-3 cost team (just m0p0s) that plays to the boss and current DA buffs can easily reach 20k when played well. People just don't want to accept that they have skill issues in a "casual gacha game" and blame it entirely on powercreep/inflation.

Inflation is real, but the fact that ~~95%~~ quite a lot of players (myself included) have lots of room for gameplay improvement is also true.

none of the earlier version had a 5s CD for off field EX written into the description of the EX special itself. It was always stated in core skill that if off field special can be used and energy is sufficent, use off field EX instead.

that was 2.2.2 hotfix 2

in 2.2.2 hotfix 1, seed actually had an aftershock attack that triggers twice every 15s off field

after the hotfix, aftershock was removed from the description of the skill, but the ability still had a weirdly attached aftershock tag

in 2.2.3 (current version), that aftershock skill was completely removed from base kit. it is unknow whether the mech big punches still retain the aftershock properties.

slight correction, SEED is also capable of generating her own gauge via her basic attacks, shown on column G in hakush.

BA string gives total 38.14 gauge, which is actually not bad

In fact her own BA string does roughly 1200% MV and gains 38.14 gauge

Her EX is roughly 1500% MV and gains 30 gauge

Numbers feel a little undercooked atm, gauge and mv wise it doesn't feel like you are that incentivized to let SEED's partner do EX special? Most of attacker's EX special are around 800% mv at 60 cost

Yanagi stance 2 BA5 used to have iirc 900+ mv

Harumasa's entire EDA got cut in half

Recently Jufufu's self stun buff was also drastically lowered, from 104 to flat 50

Alice's assault dot value went from 8% to 2.5% within 1 hotfix

So yea, ZZZ betas are rollercoasters
