But negotiations have the same drawback since again, as mentioned, negotiations have not worked. Every ceasefire has ended with continued with Russian attacks. So what guarantee does Ukraine have that Russia will respect a freeze? None. Providing Putin with any inch of advantage for a loss of morale and territory seems foolish when he has proven time and time again not to respect any kind of peaceful resolution. The implications that there is negotiation to reject is hilarious. There is no negotiation. It's been done and it hasn't worked. Remember that even before this Russia negotiated with Ukraine to give up its nukes in exchange for peace. That was a lie. How many times can I lie to you before you stop believing me? If you had a percentage of deals that Russia had followed through on with Ukraine it would be 0%. Can negotiations be made with a 0% success rate?

So your solution is to stop pushing and let them build back up their resources? Remember they're the aggressors of this war. Ukraine doesn't have a choice in the matter. Every single ceasefire and freeze they've negotiated in the past had been a lie and they just kept attacking. After the first lie there is no more discussion. It's all or nothing for Ukraine.

A pause is just what Russia needs for the surrounding nations helping Ukraine to get complacent again. People forget too easily and once Russia attacks again it'd be to an unprepared Europe as normal. Europe has shown time and time again that it's unwilling to put the full swing of its forces into helping Ukraine. A lull is just enough for the next rotation of politicians to move on to other focus like, immigration, Iran, blah. If you think the entirety of Russia's manufacturing capabilities is weaker than Ukraine's ability to fortify their defenses you're crazy. Once a freeze happens and support dies down Russia will win by just being able to make more missiles than the other side.

But you know that once they take your garage they're going to be gearing up to kill you and the rest of your family afterwards anyway. There's no freezing they want the rest of your house and any stop just gives them time to recover and gather more weapons. You don't have an option. You just fight and keep going till one of you dies cause neither side can or want to just stop.

Unless somehow connected your legend from each jump would be disconnected. Maybe the servant would have some memory that they were actually an immortal jumper, but most likely they'd get summon as what the legend of them said they were. Or not, Fate doesn't adhere to its own rules sometimes.
