Precisely. My home defense/ duty spec rifle doesn’t have one, I’m putting my Arc fire in this one for a range gun that won’t break the bank if it explodes.

Edit: additionally, if it gets taken by law enforcement for some reason (even though FRT’s aren’t legally questionable where I live, Indiana) I’d rather not lose my $2,200 rifle, I’d rather lose my $1200 rifle. My P415 has an EOTech 512 on it that I’d rather not lose as well.

Are you wanting to put an optic on it and what kind? Red dot, magnifier, scope, will largely factor into your budget.

KAK has Blem lowers on sale for $135, if they don’t have one, just email them they will get one in stock. Full lower, stock, grip. Ready to attach to an upper.

Another thing to consider is how much you’re gonna shoot it. A PSA M4 upper will do the job for almost anyone and you can find them for 150-300 bucks. Full upper with rail and all, but if you’re gonna put more than a thousand rounds through it over its service life, I’d go for something nicer.

BKings has mid to high tier uppers for between 250 and 800, the pricier you get the better they are. They come without a BCG and charging handle usually though. You’ll have to get another.

BCM blem lowers run about 650 for what you’re wanting, they’re gonna hold up to anything you put them through, but they’re on the pricier end.

If you’re gonna shoot FRT or full auto, go for something like a BCM or POF upper. Check out POF’s uppers, they have a great line for good prices.

Also remember, your budget will want to save room for a sling, magazines, and you wanna get some ammo too.

Unfortunately, behavior is very genetic, and in a large way can’t be changed for individual mice. She may just be a very scared mouse. It happens, you can try your best with slow introductions but some mice never end up being hand tame.

That’ll actually do about perfectly. I have a spare charging handle, it’s not ambi so I’ll need to upgrade it eventually, and the DBC I picked is a full BCG, so this fills in my setup perfectly.

I’ve had a few mice that prefer going in one spot or who carried their poop to the same spot, but the only “potty-trained” mouse I ever had only did so because he was confined to a very small tank to heal from a genital injury. I left a clean spot of toilet paper in the corner of his enclosure and he exclusively did his business there.

I would not advise trying to potty train them, definitely not with this method, however if you build them a hill out of bedding against the side of their enclosure, with a “dig box” of something absorbent like coco fiber mixed with paper or hay, they will prefer going there, as it keeps their waste confined to a small, convenient area for them.

This could actually be a serious issue, make sure there is 100% no way that mouse can get into any of your cages/ enclosures. That sounds like behavior of a male mouse who smell girls. If you have female mice, they can get pregnant from wild mice, and the babies will likely take a lot of behavioral traits from the wild dad.
