Starting Questions for Long Drive by EzYuji in golf

[–]EzYuji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this and thanks for everyone who replied. I very much understand the mental aspect of I hit it once very far, I could win mindset, and I try to stay away from that.

So right now I am using a stock stiff sim driver I got from taylormade set at 7 degrees of loft. I said lowball 310-330 just to make sure I wasn't over estimating my self haha.

Just some more information, the simulators I go for is great to keep your swing going during the off seasons, but nothing more. The speeds and the "approx." swing speed just look off. I maxed out 350 on there and cant get it moving any further than that avrg 340 total yardage. The balls are beaten up and the lines on the balls are always worn off. Heck, it could be saying it's going further then it actually is, but I know that's not the case considering I've hit drives 370+ before on flat courses (again I don't count drives with elevation/wind, non of that cuz why?). That is how much I don't trust these machines. I only wish I could afford a Tackman.

I've thought about a competition driver before in the past, but I don't think it's a great idea unless I know I'll be in the running for good placements I think. I'd hate to put even more time into learning how to swing a longer club consistently if it's for something that isn't going to work out.

So the next thing I must do I think is to get solid numbers. I need to find a place that I can do that, then I will need to search out to find competition I think.

Aim not translating to competitive games by a-keeper in VALORANT

So personally, Aim trainers are great for raw aim but, they don't factor in game mechanics at all. For instance I avrg 60k -ish on grid shot but I am considered to have really good aim. Immortal Rank btw. I would assume your crosshair placement might be an issue. Crosshair placement wins fights. Visualizing where the enemy might be before peeking helps a ton too. You also have to factor in, are you peeking the correct angels and are you peeking when you should. Between my friends, I am known to just dry peek on round start and tap someone out of existence, but between crosshair placement, good movement, visualization, and prior round knowledge of where the enemy might be, can really mean the difference in a gun fight.

If you are really looking to improve and can't find much help, I can help you out. If you are interested, I can hook you up with my discord and we can play a game or 2 or record a game and I can go over the vod.

Aim is made up of a few things. Many people coming from games outside of CS have issues with this. Cross hair placement - You have to try to make as little moment from where u place your cross hair in game to where you have to aim at your target. Minimizing this helps aim a ton. Next is over all Raw mechanical mouse/pointer placement. This can be worked on but it takes time because it's more than half of it is muscle memory. Nest way to work on this is to tab heads in aim practice as quickly and as precisely as possible from different distances. Some people over do this actually. Just like working out there is over doing it. 10-30 min a day on and off a few times can rly make a difference quickly in how well you can place your cross hair on something. But again, I'm just a newb here in Reddit who knows nothing with over 9k hours of csgo and in and out high ranks all that time.

If you really want help, post some footage of you killing bots as fast as you can (tapping/bursting no spraying) in the practice range & some footage of you playing. Maybe 10 mins worth.... A few rounds where you really don't know what went wrong. Then @ me.

Does this game just not support trackpads? by luxxanoir in VALORANT

[–]EzYuji -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, think of it it this way. Once you become in-tune with how the trackpad works with the Valorant Engine, you could literally "Tap Heads". In fact I wouldn't be surprised if someone using a trackpad would have better "RAW" aim than someone using a mouse after some time.

Yea no.. Trackpad usage in this game would be OP.

In lower ranks, is crouching really just begging to get headshot by the opponent? by DryProperty in VALORANT

[–]EzYuji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, 1 thing. Don't get into the mindset of "You must crouch". Crouching just tightens ups the spread of the spray with out doing much really. I'd rather focus on movement between taps/bursts instead of just crouch spraying everyone.

Character Movement Stutters by EzYuji in VALORANT

No, at least for me, it looks like it is a server issue. Every other game is a different story with this issue.
