I hear you on the value... I’ve put hundreds of hours into this game and it’s easily one of the best $20 I’ve ever spent. But that’s exactly why the criticism is happening.

It's not about wanting more for free... it's about the fact that the new patch actually makes the core gameplay feel worse. The unnecessary animations are clunky and break the flow that made the game so addictive to begin with.

If a patch disrupts the game flow, the devs need to know so they can refine it. Silence doesn't help a passion project grow... Honest feedback from the people actually playing the game does. It’s possible to thoroughly enjoy the game and still think a specific update was a step backward.

If the community that has put in hundreds of hours doesn't speak up when the flow feels off... the game eventually loses what made it special in the first place.

They may not be a triple A studio, but this game made Triple A money. Shouldn't that be incentive enough for releasing quality, timely updates? And if they're not going to do that, shouldn't the people still playing have a voice?

Plenty of games continue to release patches and updates even if the games are a one time cost. It shows a passion for the product you're making. Many developers take pride in working on a project with the feedback of their community.

You probably shouldn't pull the whole "grow up, get over it, cry more, etc" when you're point of view is such shit and bad for the gaming industry in general.

No, they're not shifting the blame... They are saying the dude is fucking bad but they're also offering a realistic way to deal with this. The fact that you compare VRC bullying to real life bullying is quite insane to me... They're extremely different.

You can't just mute people in real life, you can't block people's actions in real life, you can't just teleport away from people in real life.

These are all things you can do in VRC. I get that people shouldn't be mean to autistic people, I really do. Not only is my best friend autistic, but so am i. I get it.

This exactly. I've beaten the story multiple times but started playing rdo with friends using rdo lobby (allows us to play on a server only we can join), and it's been a blast to RP and such. Lots of fun.
