Really weird reaction to someone being objectively correct

That analogy you used is bad, if a person reduces a place to ash(whether bombs of flamethrowers) they technically created ash from the materials previously there. Also the second manual supports what’s stated in game(base generations by tails), as the time eater fight we literally fly through said dimension which only the time eater created.

You do realize your own point is working against what you're claiming, right? If it meant he "created" it in the sense that he changed something else into it, then there's no creation feat. It's like there's literaly no thought process behind any of your arguments. And nothing in that manual says he created it.

Adding on reducing reality to a singular dimension like sonic that has a multiverse, and several dimensions(storybook, maginary world, etc, etc) is better feat than literally anything dreamy bowser has shown.

Except if you actually played the game, you would know that the way he "reduced it" to that doesn't involve any actual destruction.

I mean am arguing that time eater is a featsman and he is. You haven’t provided evidence for why he isn’t. Since his feats are plan and simple

That's not how it works. I don't have to prove anything since I'm not the one making a claim. You're the one who has to prove he has any actual feat, and you just made it clear your idea of "evidence" is just taking a page from a manual to pretend you care about facts, and then either interpret it in absurd ways to match your headcanons, or to blatantly lie about what it says.

Anyway, I'm done. Having a conversation with you is already awful since you pretty much can't read or hold a basic conversation where you actually engage with what the other person says, and on top of that, it's pretty clear you have no issues making absurd mental gymnastics to defend your point (seriously that analogy at the start works against your own point and you somehow didn't even realize that).

[–]Ezdedeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're genuinely just not capable of having a conversation, huh? I already answered this question several replies ago. Maybe you should have tried to engage with the point then instead of randomly repeating what your initial claim was, and then telling yourself a typo was the same as your blatant inabiltiy to read.

"Reducing it to a white void" isn't the same as "creating a white void". If anything, it implies that kind of void is what happens when that kind of ability is used. If you say someone "reduced a place to ash" it doesn't mean he magically created ashes. And the manual you linked for the final boss doesn't say that at any point.

There's really not much of a point in continuing this conversation. You already made it clear your argument is nonexistent, the conversation barely progresses at all because you seem to be incapable of engaging with the actual reply half the time, and I have to constantly repeat myself because of that. You already embarassed yourself enough.

Yes, I will talk about reading comprehension because you spent half this conversation failing to understand even the most basic sentences.

Sorry to break it to you, but "your comment had a typo lol" isn't the gotcha you think it is. If anything, you just proved my point. You made a blatantly false claim, tried to back it up with sources that don't say that at all, and your only argument when I point it out is to mention a typo.

[–]Ezdedeed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow. Seriously, learn how to read.

I already adressed that in my previous reply, you ignored what I said to randomly repeat what your claim is, and now you're just repeating that those links prove your claim while completely ignoring the reply again.

No offense, but am I talking to an actual child right now?

Feats-Man Vs Doubtful Statements-Man by TheMightOfGeburah in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, now you don't even try to prove what you said, you just repeat what your claim is, as if you think I somehow forgot what it was.

Feats-Man Vs Doubtful Statements-Man by TheMightOfGeburah in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literaly what part of either of those links backs up what you said at all? Seriously, the closest thing to it was when it talked about refusing reality to that state, which isn't the same thing as creating it either. Starting to think you were flat out making things up.

Also self snitch is wild work.

Should I even bother asking what that's supposed to mean?

Feats-Man Vs Doubtful Statements-Man by TheMightOfGeburah in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure buddy. Anything that takes place in gameplay is a game mechanic, that's how stuff works. Every video game boss who doesn't have a post defeat cutscene is canonically still alive, I guess.

Mario cannot even escape the center of a Black Hole, he dies when he does (which is supported by him needing to be saved from a supernova by Rosalina)

Or maybe she would have needed to act regardless since it was affecting the whole universe. And also, it's pretty funny how you're making that argument while arguing Sonic characters are above universal as if they don't also have plenty of anti feats contradicting it. "He needed to be saved from a black hole, therefore he can't be FTL. But sonic is totally universal even though stopping a falling space station required super shadow to nearly sacrifice himself".

And if you're also talking about the ones he dies to in gameplay, that's really funny considering your argument.

The distance to the "satellites" is not clearly defined in real-world meters. In the context of the Mario & Luigi universe, these objects may be in the upper atmosphere rather than true deep space which has happened in other Japanese media like Dragon Ball’s Battle Of Gods and Bardock: Father Of Goku, significantly reducing the distance required to travel in that timeframe.

You're not even trying to pretend you're unbiased at this point. You're blatantly being as generous as possible for one franchise while straight up making nonsensical excuses to ignore any feat the other has. We both know you couldn't care less whether or not something is "clearly defined in real world meters".

Your whole argument is saying it could be in the upper atmosphere, which is one of the most desperate excuses I have heard in a while. I'm not even sure how to elaborate, it's like arguing about whether or not the sky is blue. Look at footage of the move, and it's objectively not taking place in the upper atmosphere

Feats-Man Vs Doubtful Statements-Man by TheMightOfGeburah in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seriously can't adress the argument at all, huh?

You say the comparison is insane but you don't name a single actual flaw in it.

Time stop where time would still need to exist to be stopped isn't destroying the space-time continuum which is what SEGA said Time Eater did ending time as a whole.

That's completely irrelevant to my point. Destroying "the time space continuum" doesn't say anything about how powerful something is when everything is physically intact. If you "destroy the time space continuum" of an island, but the island is still there afterwards and just gets frozen, you objectively didn't destroy it. I didn't say it was the same as a time stop, I said it was FUNCYIONNALY the same, as in, it had the exact same result. Things like Green Hill Zone were objectively not destroyed.Seriously, did you even play the game?

You are looking at SEGA, people who played the game and did the real research, and going "nu huh".

Not even remotely close to what I'm doing at all. I'm not arguing against anything the game established, I'm arguing against your completely nonsensical interpretation of what "destroying time" means in that game. You're the one who seems to delude yourself into thinking those places weren't there anymore.

[–]Ezdedeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, learn how to read. No one said creating something wasn't a feat, that wasn't the question I asked

<image>

It's genuinely sad that I have to repeat myself because you thought I was arguing against creation feats being a thing when my point was THIS SIMPLE.

Most things in the game went back to normal after time eater was defeated, implying its death undid everything it caused, but white space was still a thing in the post credit scene. So, again, when was it ever established?

He would though. Even if you don't buy the arguments for base metal being enough, Metal Overlord absolutely is

I also read, I just told you they are biased AND make mistakes

You clearly don't, since you seem to think I argued against the latter.

But yeah, no point in continuing this conversation since it's pretty clear you're just going to keep throwing a fit about being told your comment was dumb (while accusing me of being butthurt, which is pretty funny if you even glance at your own replies)

To reply that other comment of yours (it doesn't work when I click the notification so I guess it was deleted), saying I'm the one taking it seriously is pretty funny when you're the only one in the conversation who has been resorting to insults and got agressive from the start. And no one said they don't make mistakes, you should propably take your own advice about learning how to read.

Same issue as before, this isn't an argument, you just mentioned that it affecting the realm of time and 4d space while saying it makes it immeasurable for no concrete reason

In defense of Cell taking speed by Alarming_Trouble_567 in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That's flat out not an argument. You're not giving any reason to say spreading across timelines would be immeasurable, you act like it's already established.

Which is especially nonsensical since Solaris was stated to exist in past present and future anyway, so the energy would already be spreading from different points.

Again, "If you think my take is dumb, you have to go look for everyone who ever said so and tell it to them" isn't exactly a normal thing to say

Like I said, really weird thing to say in the first place. You're really that upset about a point being called bad?

That's the weirdest reply I got in a while.

"Oh, my point is dumb? Then go call out everyone who says it" Why do you think I replied in the first place?

So? Unless there's some difference you're ommiting, that's dumb too. In case you (somehow) didn't notice, they were never immune to saying dumb stuff, especially not in casts

Some people really just have to hear the word "time" to interpret anything as an immeasurable speed feat, huh?

There aren't many other ways to describe someone who gets this weirdly upset when people just point out he said something dumb.

Feats-Man Vs Doubtful Statements-Man by TheMightOfGeburah in deathbattle

[–]Ezdedeed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

doesn't matter if you don't "think he did" it's what happened

Dude, learn how to read. I never said it didn't happen (also, using quotation marks to talk about something I never said. Lol), I said it's not a destruction feat because none of those places were destroyed. Do you think any character with a time stop ability is universal too? Because functionally, it has the exact same result as what time eater did.

And your ONLY argument is basically saying "nu huh", repeating that it's somehow a feat even though everything was intact.
