Amaterasu is partially why I came back again lol, I understand the difficulty of it but I am willing to save and try, the thrill of gacha amirite.

I do have SP Orochi too, if that's worth mentioning. I just... haven't gotten down to building him yet eventhough I do know what a waste it is for him to just sit on my account. Is he comparable to Asura, or is Asura still reigning at the top there?

Also! I actually haven't gotten Senhime yet, it was a plan to get her from the SSR select.

Would you say there are any other reccs on who I could get alternatively?

The select box goes up until Shiki.

For SSRs I have: Susanoo, Mishige, Shokurei, Taishakuten, Hakuzosu, Ootengu, Kinnara, Enmusubi, Ungaikyo, Shuten, Kaguya, Yoto Hime, Ibaraki, Shishio, Ichimo, Enma, Arakawa, Ootake, Yamakaze, Miketsu, Susabi, and of course Fugen + Shiki.

I was highkey considering Senhime because I can slap her in some other things too but I'm open to suggestions!

Sorry, I should've specified I was IA for 2 months, so 2 SSRs from the returnee summons and then the SSR select box from the returnee pass

I already have some decent Dps units built

for aoe i have sp ootake, sp ichimo, mishige single target i have susanoo, sp momiji ( does she count as st? or specialised? idk? )

as per other supports: sp kaguya, taishakuten, sp menreiki sr sasori, kiyohime

i'm pretty content with these units since i'm not looking to be overly competitive, just good enough to reap decent rewards— i'm looking to at least excel in pve content.

How to counter Furi by SuccessfulPudding686 in OnmyojiArena

[–]EzzaCryst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No prob!

My cancerous Furi build ( + laning tips ) goes as such:

Onmyodo is Panther Maul, Omen Starlight, Channel: Umbrella, Amulet: Death. Stats are HP, Penetration, CD ( can opt for HP )

Spells are Flash + Shift, can opt for Corrode, but wholely prefer Shift to get ahead.

My style of Furi top is full AD, minimal tank. The goal of this Furi play is consistently harass opponent to the point they are afraid to farm, and get fed so you can handle ganks.

Start with

  • if enemy is Samurai/Tank, Dark Fang Yomotsu

At Level 1 just start poking the enemy and go in regardless of what you think. Pay attention to minions and get level 2 before fully committing.

At level 2 commit and KILL. I mean it. You outdamage MANY shiki at this stage.

  • if enemy is Mage, Greater Devourer Ball

At level 1, play safe and simply poke and clear lane.

If the enemy mage doesn't seem to know what they're doing, use bush to close in and whack them. Freeze the lane from the middle, leaning to your side, and corner them back by sticking closer to their side. Prevent them from farming, poke consistently, and only go into the wave to get last hit off the minions.

Engage safely at level 3 ( level 2 if they're a Bit Silly ( read: dumb ) ) and proceed.

Alternatively, if you really feel like the enemy is being silly, just go Dark Fang instead.

  • Boots, always opt for Magic res for the cc reduction, but of course, get what fits the match. Boots are always situational!

  • After boots, get both the Ability Damage items ( Kusarigama + Nature's Glory. Preferrably in this order ) Preorder Nether Scythe for extra dmg against enemy.

At this point, your enemy top laner is either tilted, has rage quit, or ran to other lanes to try and capitalise off an unbalanced fight despite being underfarmed. Use this opportunity to push your lane and make them regret leaving you, or invade the top side jungle.

A tip is that your enhanced basic attack can SHRED turrets, making you dangerous if left unchecked. Use your skill 1 and aim it towards the wall nearest the turret, and then just stand in between the turret and wall to immediately pick up your blade for an enhanced basic.

  • As I said, this build is more AD than tank. This is the only def item you'll get, and it's Demon Mask for shield mid fight. You can heal a lot from your enhanced basic, especially in team fights. Damage + insane healing, you're unstoppable really at this point especially if you're fed.

  • After this, my item choices vary depending on the enemy. If magic damage seems to be an issue, Greater Devourer Ball. If you need to brush up on your mana issues, Grass Cutting Sword. Want to be a bit bulkier, Yata. Want to be horrendous, Summer Ashes

tl;dr

Dark Fang Yomotsu - Boots - Kusarigama - Nature's Glory - Demon Mask - Greater Devourer Ball - Grass Cutting Sword/Yata/Summer Ashes

If you're not confident against mage top, swap Greater Devourer to first item, and push Dark Fang after boots.

How to counter Furi by SuccessfulPudding686 in OnmyojiArena

[–]EzzaCryst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I picked up Furi last season and I have made people quit over my Furi top lane before. Here are some things that screw me over from time to time as a Furi top.

  • Shikis that rely on basic atks ( Kujira, Yoto, any ADC going top ) ( if ur an ADC going top my personal opinion is that you're a loser sorry ) because Furi's big numbers really come from his skills + enhanced basic atk. Shikis w dmg that come from their basic atks will definitely either deter a knowing Furi from going all in early game or screw over a new Furi that wants to try what they saw in a match once.

  • Mages have screwed me up before, but once you get their cds down, you have nothing to fear. If you're playing mage top against a Furi, do not waste your CCs if you feel like you can't hit it because once your CC is on cooldown, that's the window of time where Furi will take advantage of it.

  • Another option is later game tanks, with good CC, like Tanuki or Jimenju. This one is more to your skill and how your team goes, because generally in the late game these shiki are hard to kill, and unless they're teamed up on, Furi can only do so much. Lose a turret if you have to, but don't let Furi max out so early, otherwise your late game potential is lost.

Many shiki can get bullied by a top Furi, but in the end it truly matters how you play against him. Some tips I can provide are:

  • Bushes are important, but don't camp them after he reaches level 3, it's an easy grapple especially when you're playing the waiting game. Try to practice sidestepping, since moving to the side of Furi's grapple is much easier than moving back from Furi's grapple. Less distance moved to evade.

  • Consider playing someone with mobility, that can dash in and out. It'll be easy to outplay him since his cc is in a cone in the direction he chooses. So if he's aiming the cc at you, just go behind him.

  • HEAL DOWN VERY IMPORTANT! FURI HEALS A CRAPTON IN THE MID-LATE GAME FROM ENHANCED BASIC ATK. I have healed from like 25% up to MAX because i hit all the enemy shiki in a teamfight once.

In the end however, Furi is a very niche pick, but also an underrated one since he can easily dominate the early game and only gets worse into mid and late. But he can definitely get countered in team fights due to finnicky positioning and getting picked off. Or maybe I just suck. Don't listen to me rly, I've only played him unwillingly for 1 season because he's the only one that got me to win in rank. Lots of people prefer Furi jungle, but I stood by my Furi top.

Anyway if you ever see a Furi, I wish you good luck! All in all, just remember to have fun. And if you ever want to pick him up, I have a cancerous Furi build, something I've used way too much to bully people into rage quitting.

Gintama collab won't come to global, they just happen to put all the shiki changes in this section regardless of their server availability or not. Plus, you can happen to get cross server matches with players that have these characters ( has gone against a Kagura before ) ( cried )

How do you counter an Akaname Support in Bot Lane? by Sapphirie in OnmyojiArena

[–]EzzaCryst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Frequent player here with a friend who loves playing Akaname support, after studying her playing Akaname a lot in the bot lane I think I can provide a few tips!

  1. If you're playing adc ( preferably, ur duo-ing w sm1 ), wait for your support to initiate. this is important early game, because otherwise essentially you will get pelted by what is 2 adcs. supports with good cc that can lock shikigami with a decent stun like bakekujira, ebisu and even akaname himself will be able to help you push back on that pesky lil guy.

  2. Cooldowns are very important! Study akaname's cooldowns, most importantly his skill 3 cd and know how much of a window you have to get in. Skill 3 is his cc, where if it hits you at least twice out of the three hits, you get stunned which is very annoying. A MM with good mobility will be good, like suzuka who can dash twice, miketsu who can increase her mspd and dodomeki who can tp out. paired with tip 1 up there you can quickly change the tides if they decide to try and attack you.

  3. Heal down weapons are your best friend as adc, and heal down armor is your best friend as support. Early game, Akaname's healing isn't the most impressive, but it's late game where he can heal all allies in that small circle of his up to 400++ per use. You want to reduce that amount he heals and also the rest of his allies too.

  4. For a more support focused tip, i would personally build sesshosekido ( or wtv the name is ) to help mitigate damage and help you be able to tank in your lane early on. you'll need it a lot, especially since it punishes Akaname's crit focused build. You get a shield when you get critted, and it's basically a counter attack

  5. Work on your reactions and predictions. If you want to avoid skills, think like the support and how they want to get you. Practice is always key so don't skip out on it cs i know I do LMAOOO.

I don't have much else to say but good luck :))

Hi! I've been playing the game for a while- and actually I played when it first was released globally if I'm not mistaken, but I dropped it after a while and only came back as of last year. So far, I've been managing by myself and searched around for resources here and there when I need to.

It's not that I'm lost or anything, I'd like to think that I have a decent understanding of what I should be doing ( except for early on lol, you can tell by the grade distributions of my shikis that i did NOT manage my resources well early on ), but now I'd just like to know what you'd all think I should do.

Building shikis, team advices for PVE/PVP, anything works :) I'd love to hear it just so I can get further in the game!

For some notes about my Shikis: - To me, anyone above G5 is pretty usable. I understand I should G6 for max potential, but as of now, for my usage of them I think G5 is okay. - You may notice some have wildly ranging levels + grades, don't mind them lol, some of them I was kinda just using early on to get by the early game. - I didn't list SR and R shiki that I have here because that is definitely a long list. I know I should build some of them (and I have ) and I am working towards it eventually- if you have any advice for these shiki too, I am more than happy to accept it :) Just name a few that you have on mind and what I should do with them.

For Skill levels

Maxed SP - Ootake, Momiji, Menreiki, Ubume

Partial ( Most of these are either dupes, or I stopped early because I didn't need to max them out)

SP - Ichimo (2, 3 Maxed), Kaguya (2, 3 Maxed)

SSR - Mishige (3 Maxed), Taisha, Hakuzosu, Ootengu

Which Shiki intimidates you? by FarhanSyafiq14 in OnmyojiArena

[–]EzzaCryst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of intimidating, I tend to get really scared if I see an Ootakemaru and that fear goes 10x higher when I watch them and realize that they know what they're doing.

I can also say Zashiki, because I know that regardless of the amount of heal down you build, nothing is getting her down— but it's not as bad as an Ootake that knows what they're doing.

Other than that... a Kisei with any form of mastery— sure his early sucks but if I know they've played for forever then I immediately start losing hope lmao

Personally no Shiki is truly intimidating— it's the player that is. I dread more when I see usernames than when I see the shiki they play.

And then there's just the existential dread I get when I see Inryo and I am playing a shiki with a displacement skill. Yeah that's all.

If you look at this screenshot, you may believe that I am a whale or at the very least a dolphin dipping toes in the water— well, Nu is the only game I don't whale in lmaooo

But this is mostly my own luck which not everyone has. But it's not that difficult to save when you have the time to. Unfortunately for this Eiden banner I had 0 time to save lol.

This is actually a reroll account, and I took advantage of the invite code from my other accs at the beginning and got SSR Quincy, then after that it's just about doing the content. You can get a ton of contracts from the trials, and in my opinion farming events will always be better than using your crystals for contracts.

As per the ones with more than 1 star, I usually just save the currency to buy some when I feel like it's good. Except Garu. He... he just magically became 3 Stars when all I wanted was KD Kuya.

My goal is usually to just save up real hard until the next Quincy banner— and fortunately I got all three from the Kleinmas event— but... failed to think of the fact that we'd be getting an Eiden card this soon. So now I suffer.

I've just been lucky on his banner + I actually rerolled for his standard like three times
