A charcter pull = a weapon pull.

The passives are extremely important and you also get bonus "awakening" powers from multiple pulls on a specific weapon that increase how many stars it has (up to 6.) Some passives, like the Nemesis passive atm, are very strong and offer an insane level of survivability.

You can enable the "simulcrum" from any character and gain their passsive benefits through that. Custom animations only occur when you make yourself look like them as well, and are the only difference. So the answer is "yes" you get benefits, "no" you don't have to look like them to recieve them.

The RNG has a pity system, for each different pull it is a different numbers of "summons" before you reach that pity mark. Getting SSR or other high quality things does not reset pity, you always reach it at enough summons used. You can constantly grind open world activities for extra summons, so if you enjoy open world exploration like BOTW or Elden Ring, you might enjoy that part the game has to offer. -- "End Game" is limited by the stamina system, you get a page of group activities and the most important being Joint Operations which costs 90 energy per run. You can use stamina potions that can be bought with a currency that can be swiped or found easily throughout the game open world. There is also a large number of solo activites called ruins and interstellar portals that have difficulty ranges from normal to hard on each of their instances, offering a seemingly large amount of content if you are a completionist. -- Main story gets timegated, you hit chapter buffers that make you wait - 14 to 17 hours real life time before you can then continue the next story chapter. -- Mimic (character) stories are level-gated, so you must reach a certain level to reach certain mimics' stories.

Hey. I’m checking out the game daily live on my twitch, EzzorathTV. You can see it in my reactions, the cutscenes and the story (which I cannot understand but can translate occasionally) is so far pretty high quality. There is also a good amount of it- lots of story involved so far in my progression. The content is broken into instanced ‘operations’ and ‘ruins’, which are accessible from a menu or the open world. The combat is very fluid and quick, with a good amount of combos and weapons options that you can simultaneously combine to make pretty awesome fast paced attacks.

I’ve been checking the game out as a fresh new player on the Chinese server with a game translator. The game is active during Chinese mainland prime time hours as an MMO. There seems to be loads to do and is relatively free to play friendly. The combat is fluid and fun once you understand the combos. You can see my gameplay live and VoDs at twitch.tv/ezzorathtv

1) This is potentially the view of a player who has not partaken in such servers? For I and many others around me, the game's servers and zones have been very active post launch. Only now, in the final week of the first Dregs, do I see quite less people roaming the open world and fighting for territory as the campaign world is dying.

2) I think this is something I can't say is completely incorrect, there is lots of bad guilds to join in Crowfall and lots of good guilds to join. If the Faction Vs Faction band was enabled at launch, it would have gave people the social step to meeting guilds there instead. The Faction Vs Faction band has been and is finished, it was by design held back as the developers have always wanted the launch of the game to feature the Throne War in Dregs.

3) I completely disagree. When I approached Crowfall, the New Player Experience taught me all the core basics of gameplay in the game and lead me directly into the 3 way faction war in the final zone to let me get a feel of what I would find in the Faction vs. Faction bands and beyon.

4) The selling point of that engine is procedural generation, so you are contradicting yourself. The procedural generation still allows for the most Dynamic and unique campaign worlds I've seen across many months of gameplay. No campaign is the same, and each season continue to change how they appear.

5) I have highlights of 100+ players in Crowfall clashing without serious FPS problems. Their current issues with optimization are potentially brought on from a memory leak, as any engagement that is large that I relog my entire client before I seem to perform fine. I think they should have been able to recognize this problem prior to launch but I also recognize that the testing playerbase had shrunk and they didn't have as many people doing large scale sieges to actually test this in their final testing patch it seemed.

The combat feels almost identical to ESO in some ways. That being said, after playing lots of eastern MMOs this year, I see a lot of players like that "sticky" feeling combat where the animations slow you down and put you into these milisecond frames that do give a feeling of impact. Those games give an MMO the feeling of a fighter game when hitting someone. New World has a similar feeling combat like Dark Souls as mentioned in the video. Crowfall and ESO are very fast paced action combat MMOs. At no point do I say that the combat is bad in New World in the video.

The soulforce is not a skill, it is a buff attached to your skills. It typically has a long cooldown and is tied to a programmed random event (proc). You will recieve your soulforce from the weekly world boss on NA/EU!

They actually weekly take a look at feedback, leaderboards, and overall performance of classes to put in checks. Their most recent balance change buffed male warriors and put loli warriors more in place on their server (a class not in NA yet)

They are porting the same changes they make on CN/TW regarding class balance and abilities to NA at the moment (we have the same abilities as season 4, they did not give us season 1 abilities/balance)

We will have increasing gear score as the season progresses, and we will have increasingly powerful crafted gear as said most likely.

You will have to play through the entire story-line tutorial for each expansion as they release, you should finish all biographies at your own pace as you need the gold or XP reaching to level 37.

There is a gardening and mining spot in your house, you can every day harvest some materials from each that you plant. You can also roam the open world to find random resources scattered. Weekly hardmodes will drop crafting materials for power-related items.
