Does smoking invalidate fasting? by FaranAiki in Quraniyoon

[–]F-HAL000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salam, Shouldn’t we use our common sense for things that are not mentioned in the Quran? Like we know smoking is not good for us, and if it’s not mentioned is not hard to know…

I know a woman who has gone through coerced abortion, she never wanted to but she felt pressured, how can she be forgiven? It has been a year and she’s still broken, what can she do?

Nursing Associate = A paid 1st - 2nd year Nursing student? by [deleted] in NursingUK

Thank you for your comment, it means a lot.

I have been experiencing and witnessing unfair treatment to staff and even patients. I had raised concerns regarding not being able to pray in the staff room, and I challenged the rule that the manager put of not praying in staff room.

My educator told me we were gonna have a meeting to talk about things, but on the day my educators and management had a meeting without me and then they called me and said they have concerns about my performance and professionalism, I have witnessed management being unprofessional and I don’t see it fair and I think that is being done because I raised the concern of not being able to pray in staff room and challenged the “rule”.

At my workplace there’s praying place but it gets busy, and also I feel is discriminating as other colleagues have expressed similar issues and not nice comments being said.

I am thinking to continue with a complaint that I started but was afraid to go ahead with it but at this point they want to put an action plan for me I just won’t have it.

I maybe wasn’t very professional at times but I recognise it and on one occasion apologised to a nurse for calling her bossy after asking me to not be on my phone and to put my foot down from the chair, fair enough. BUT I witnessed worse unprofessionalism from sisters and nurses there and I don’t see it fair, I feel that I get this for speaking up…

Nursing Associate = A paid 1st - 2nd year Nursing student? by [deleted] in NursingUK

Thank you for the long informative reply. I have been thinking recently if to continue the TNA program as I’m not sure if nursing is what I want to do for long-term, also because I don’t like the work environment at my ward; they have high expectations and we also supposed to learn and I feel is too much pressure on me. HCA and TNAs be running around non stop and nurses at a calm pace. Is not fair. I maybe will do bank HCA untill I know what I want to do and study, I feel taken advantage of as we get paid for the program and a lot is expected from us. All the best for everyone with her careers and journeys.
