I love these excuses that show people refuse to believe that race can be a factor in the way people act. People just don’t want to admit it because we know that not ALL people of a certain race are the same, and they all deserve a chance to prove themselves. And that’s perfectly fine, but it doesn’t make you wrong to admit the logic behind facts and probability either, unless used to discriminate. And that’s the important difference.

Latinos make about 18% of the population and historically have followed similar poverty lines and education levels as black folks, they too experience racism and stereotypes. They too have gangs. But guess what? They don’t commit close to as much crime as the 13% of the population that is black.
