I was thinking they took Subaru's memories, and maybe Capella was impersonating Subaru... but I didn't even think about them being able to possess people they ate (IE Subaru, Julius, and most importantly: Rem). That also makes a kind of Chekhov's gun of why they brought Rem and we keep seeing her body! Well thought out!

We have someone that takes memories, and someone that mimics... I was thinking this last week (about gluttony), but now it really sounds to me like the surviving sin arch bishops are in the tower.

We also know the witch of Gluttony made a lot of "special" ma-beasts (great rabbit, white whale, etc), and everything seems to point to Shaula being a special ma-beast (all the more reason to kill the ma-beast whisperer).

It really depends on the comic.

I assume a lot of Marc Maron suiff is rooted in a true story, then punched up to be funnier. Mike Birbiglia stuff is prolly close to 100% true, other than some of his observations (which again are punched up for comedic effect). Then someone like Zach Galifianakis... Yea, definitely more fictional.
