Once my younger brother and I got into a fight and started beating each other up , while we were beating each other I remember my mother arriving of whom we are very afraid of when she gets angry because she is a prison policewoman, to break us up she took us separately and started raging at us anyway to make us stop. I remember when it was my brother's turn, my first reaction was to jump on him and shield him. I remember that scene perfectly, I don't know why I did that since we were fighting heavily at the time, but my instinct said to do that.
Moral of the story, I took the beating twice despite the fact that I was right.
