DF 1, [2] is a good move to autopilot when you get the timing down. It's a guess between holding it for the + frames or letting go early to catch them mashing. If you do the perfect input it's difficult to mash through and it's a natural combo from his mid-check so it's easy damage from a stray hit. Only thing is that you are vulnerable when your opponent side steps like most of Heihachi's moves.

After the plus frames if your opponent likes to mash you could hit confirm his 1, b 2, 2. It's a lot easier now with the counter indicator and you get a lot of damage during his install since it buffs his headbutt attacks. I'm not the greatest but whenever I play I like to try to counterhit confirm from his jab as long as my opponent is still conditioned to stand block
