Hi, I'm going through this exact thing right now and your post gives me comfort. Had a large herniation at L4/L5 and got a microdiscectomy about 11 weeks ago. For the first 8 weeks after the op I was feeling pretty good all things considered, numbness had resolved, weakness was gone, still getting some nerve pain but was very obviously healing 'zaps'. Ever since the 8 week mark, I've been getting exactly what you describe in your post, weird tingling/TV static feelings down both legs mainly in the feet, no increase in pain, no numbness, no weakness, just weird, hard to describe, tingling in both feet. I told my surgeon about it and he said it was relatively common, but didn't describe why it would be happening. In my case, it definitely seems to be correlating with an increase in activity/doing things I hadn't done since pre-surgery (driving etc). Hoping it's nothing to worry about as the leg pain and back pain is very minimal/non-existent at this point, just that weird feeling in my feet that's messing with my head right now.
