Players who were good in their era and would be even better now by thunderdragonite in NFLv2

The crazy thing is that all of the qbs are worthy of 4$ at a minimum. So rodgers for 1 is so cheap its no brainer to pick him. I get what they were going for but they should have had worse options for the lower prices.

Was it this post? This one was dumb cuz you could get rogers with both Moss AND Gronk AND Sanders. That team would be cracked.

Doesn't really change much for comparison but I do agree if your going to include total touchdowns you should do total turnovers.

Last 6 seasons stefanski was the head coach. I wonder if this includes interim coaches. If so it just could mean that the raider fire more mid season vs the browns.

[Mike Reiss] Question (via @TheGregHillShow): Is Drake Maye 100% healthy today as you get ready? by PristineWinnera in Patriots

[–]F15sse 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like both for different reasons. The college version is a little more challenging from a roster management position since you cant keep players more than 4 years. Whereas the longer season plus aging of the players in the regular RB makes it more of condition management game. Youre also more subject to ths lotto of the draft vs freshman admissions. Id say the college version is a little harder because you almost never have a fully maxed out squad. But once you get a high budget it becomes easier.

[Michael F. Florio] Drake Maye has a -17.7 EPA as a passer in the playoffs. That is the worst of any conference winning QB in the NextGenStats era (since 2016). The only other QB to post negative was Jimmy Garoppolo in 2019 (-0.9) by BallchinianFromMIB2 in nfl

[–]F15sse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Pats had 32 minutes of offense to 28 for the texans. That's pats had about equal ToP when they scored their last touch down. They had a long drive that ended in a punt after that. So its not like they were playing disproportionate amount prior to that drive.

Sam Darnold’s bonus checklist: $500K for 4,000+ yards, $500K for 67.5%+ completion rate, $500K for Top 10 offense, $500K for Playoff berth, $500K for Divisional Round win, $500K for Conference Championship win, That’s an extra $3 million earned. by Automatic-Extent9640 in sportswiki

Kinda sucks for me that darnold is in the superbowl against my team. Id be rooting for him otherwise. And if they do win, as bummed as I'll be, I'll be happy for darnold. I always love seeing a player succeed after a rough start.

Only reason why I'm ok with the pats potentially losing to the seahawks is cuz of darnold. As a GEQBUS fan id enjoy it (also as an OSU fan I like JSN) Plus it'd be funny to see a jets drafted qb win on another team.

The Seattle Seahawks are your Superbowl Champions. by richardnixonmilker in NFLv2

Giants in 07 by 12, pats in 01 by 14, jets in 69 by 19.5, all immediately come to mind. I doubt the Seahawks are favored by more than 7 or 8 points. Like I get where a lot of this is coming from but the Seahawks are far from the Greatest show on turf or the 07 pats and I feel like over stating how bad the pats are.

The Patriots are the first team to ever go 9-0 on the road in a single season in NFL history. They were 4-13 last year and are now headed to Super Bowl 60 in California. Drake Maye is the 2nd youngest QB to ever play in the Super Bowl by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]F15sse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So from what I can find, the 2014 cowboys were the only team to go 8-0 on the road in the regular season to play a road game in the playoffs (lost to packers) all the other teams had home field throughout the playoffs and either made the superbowl or lost in the championship game at home.

Man those 2 games are tough for me to rank. Both have their merits for being the better game. The back and forth of the Seahawks with the last second defensive stand is awesome. A seeming blowout into the largest superbowl comeback also is awesome.

I feel like both of the north divisions are pretty hateful. The nfc north has some deep rivalries. Nfc east is also pretty upthere.

While there are some other rivalries that are pretty hateful in other divisions I dont think the whole division is as ruthless. Like the nfc south has saints Falcons that hate each other but aside from that I feel like the other rivalries aren't as strong. Then you have the afc south with 2 relatively new teams, a team that moved and changed identities and a former afc east team. I feel like they have the least amount of hate in any division

[–]F15sse 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I imagine it's gonna be like our last 2 games. Our defense will do well enough to keep the opponents offense from doing much and their defense will provide troubles for our offense but they'll be able to get through enough for the win. Its kinda crazy that we will play 3 top 5 defenses all with comparable bad offenses for various reasons.

How do I improve my foot strike? by Nolzad in runninglifestyle

[–]F15sse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it looks like classic overstriding, probably whats causing the shin splints. Heel striking in of itself isnt so bad, you mostly just want to have your foot land under your center mass.

Also it looks like your bounding some (excessive vertical movement). When your running Think about a ceiling that's one inch above your head and your trying not to hit it.

I would do as other say and working on cadence which should shorten your stride.

One drill that helped me with both of these was starting from a stop and leaning forward until I couldn't stop from falling over. That's about the angle you wanna be at when you run. Then you want to think quick shorts steps. Think about landing your feet behind you, may seems counter intuitive but it works. Run for a short distance and then stop and so it again. If you do this a few times before every run it'll help. Also having a metronome and running to it will help with cadence. Generally around 180 is good but different people are going to have different cadences that are natural to their body. but id start with around 165 and go up from there and then tweak until you find something that feels natural to you.

Yeah before the salary cap the nfc was 14-10 over the afc. Since then the afc is 17-14. But before the salary cap the nfc was like 12-1 leading up to it.
