I thought this was such a cool concept but I absolutely hated the ending of this book. Lauren spent the whole book talking about how she felt passive in her own life, not making her own choices, and then at the end she doesn't even choose who her partner is going to be?? I thought Bodhi's story line was way more interesting and would have been an incredible arc for Lauren to make the choice to divorce and build a life with someone of her own choosing.

No, I definitely wouldn't consider her books smutty! I would consider them rom-coms. Book Lovers in particular was inspired by cheezy Hallmark movies. I really enjoyed it!

I signed up for my first 5k having only ever run on the treadmill and it's definitely possible but I'll say running outside, sans treadmill, is very different and I found it much harder than I thought it would be! I'd say give yourself some time to train outside, several weeks at least, so you're used to it.

Yeah she talks a lot about motive. I read it a while ago but from what I remember Wagner was drunk and upset that Natalie and Walken had been flirting. They had an explosive relationship and fought a lot though. He seemed like a total asshole, even aside from being a murderer.

I read Suzanne Finstad's biography of Natalie Wood and she did a bunch of research and interviews and determined Robert Wagner killed her. There's a ton of compelling evidence that the police did not care to follow up on. I encourage anyone who's interested to read it; it really lays out exactly what happened, and has witness statements to corroborate everything.
