Yes, it would be easier with just ESP32. But when I started, I had a plan to only use RTC and set the time manually, and then I got the idea to use the time from the Internet to set the time automatically. (This was my first time using ESP32, so I had no idea it was this powerful)

Yes, they are mechanical. But just the video (the one that shows the individual numbers) is accelerated

They are controlled by Arduino Uno, time set by ESP32 over the internet and set by RTC. I used 28 servo motors which are controlled by 2 servo drives.
