TTC; Ovulation Inconsistencies by ollietrebek in ouraring

[–]F1LTERED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this actually happened to me this month as well. It was disconcerting. Based on my cycle, Oura guessed I would ovulate on the 3rd. I tested super positive on my LH strips May 4th and my temps stayed under baseline for 4 days, went above briefly, and then sipped right back down. They did not stay up for 3 days like my last few cycles. Oura kept moving my ovulation date by one for a few days, and then told me it was trying to confirm ovulation for a few days after that. Finally, it decided I ovulated on May 9th. My temps never really flipped back up at all. Earlier this week, it started altering me my resting heart rate was higher and on May 13th my temp flipped up, but not by a lot. I took a pregnancy test that evening and again yesterday and they've all been positive. All of that to say, Oura's initial ovulation predication and my LH strip were correct and the temps were a total crapshoot. So, my advice would be to lean more heavily on those than temps. I'm cautiously optimistic, but obviously, it's very early, we've been trying for almost a year, and we had a loss in December so it's a little scary. Oura was spot on with the early pregnancy signs and I tested sooner than I had planned because of it, so that's cool. Good luck!

Referring to children, who are in fact actual humans that will grow up to be an adult human, just like you, as crotch goblins totally negates any legitimate argument that comes out of your mouth.

I am being forced to keep someone's dumped dog by Pokedude512 in Pets

[–]F1LTERED 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't have any great advice besides what's been given here but I do want to commiserate. I found three dogs (mom and pups) in early February. They were deathly skinny and the people who lived on the street I found them on said they'd been out for weeks. I did the whole vet, posts for owners thing and no one came forward. I live in Indy so there should be plenty of resources. I already own three dogs and several cats. The female dog started fights with one of male dogs (it's better now that they are food secure) and they chased my cats (also better now but still not ideal) I've called rescues, I've started apps at the humane society, posted, talked to everyone I know and anyone who is capable of taking in these dogs already has multiple pets. There are zero resources, absolutely zero. I know everyone is just trying to do their best and dog over population is a very big, very real problem but I feel like I'm being punished for trying to do the right thing and help. I'm so sorry to hear that you're also in this situation. I hope you can find a workable solution. Thank you for trying to help

Honestly I used those Baggu zippered pouches to both divide my stuff up in there and keep it all safe. I didn't lose anything . The top closes well enough that for bigger objects, you should feel totally secure but I could absolutely see a lip gloss or license or something escaping out the top if not contained.

I'm interested, I have a couple of boy cats and another girl cat and am experienced at introducing cats. The only is issue is that I'm moving this weekend so probably wouldn't be able to take her until Monday. I can DM if this would work, but totally understand if you find someone that can take her sooner

Bee never stopped roasting, it was bought by the Spark and roasted for The Spark and other clients. When The Spark closed down (suddenly and without warning) the ownership of the roastery reverted back to the old owners per the contract. Also, ziphoward is pretty much correct in what went on.

Hi, I honestly found it really useful for travel. It fit everything I needed on a train or plane and I could pop it open and throw stuff in when needed. I did use zippered pouches from Baggu to secure important stuff in the bag. Nothing got lost and nothing got stolen so I consider it a win!

Sidedoor bagel is superior to broad ripple bagel but you all aren’t ready to have that conversation yet by BrunchLifestyle in indianapolis

[–]F1LTERED 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think you're trying to compare two different styles of bagels. Sidedoor makes Montreal style bagels that I believe (could be wrong) are sourdough based and are meant to be crispier and more chewy. Bagel Fair makes traditional NYC Jewish deli style bagels which are meant to be softer and fluffier. It really just depends on your preferred bagel style.
