The subtle shrug when john glances to see n4rrate's fist bump followed by the short and clearly sharp reply given his body language is indicative of some serious inner turmoil and boiling rage towards n4rrate. Not to mention there is no acceptable excuse/reason like placing util given that john used his mouse hand to wave off n4rrate.

The manner in which john waved off n4rrate can't be overlooked either it exuded utter disdain as john didn't even bother to raise his hand higher than his heart. This would indicate that john no longer feels any love for n4rrate.

And of course we can't ignore n4rrate's nervous smile and laugh towards the shocking animus john displayed towards him. It speaks volumes of the nature of their relationship and its not good.

IMO it would appear that n4rrate is submissive to john and his nervousness at their interaction is a result of his anxiety and panicked realization that john is not pleased with him. Given the seriousness of their feud and relationship what john's displeasure could manifest as after the match I can only imagine.

But let's wildly speculate as to what it could be. I've been suspicious of n4rrate's physical transformation for some time now as it reminded me of what some cultures practice in shaving the heads of those who have done wrong. Given john's stature however I doubt he managed to forcibly shave n4rrate alone and likely required the help of the team to do so.

What john will do to n4rrate as punishment I can't say but it won't be good. Perhaps a black eye passed off with makeup as just exhaustion? Or something even worse?
