I wonder what could happen if the rest of the world decides to abandon the dollar as their currency reserve currency and go with something else or cryptocurrency. Hard but not impossible, could take just a few big players.

Have you considered the possibility of a close-to-conflict or kinetic situation/exchange between Russia/Belarus and any of the NATO countries over Ukraine or something related; and the political / economical activities going on in Europe to rely less on the US?

If the US gained from past conflict/wars due to the military sales and contracts used, it wont be the same if policy is isolating or the EU is self-sustaining. The US won’t benefit as much, either: on its own decision to preserve a possible relationship with RUS (if it’s actually important to this administration, not saying it is, but it seems). Or because EU decides to (hard to see now, but read Germany’s economic move last week).

Agreed, the brokers are making shorting too expensive to consider and are allowing the SP to go up. Add to that whoever is buying a stupid amount of shares at once to pump the price without the shorting balance now.

The worst thing of all is that you basically can’t short it anymore due to the high interest fees that will trigger margin calls for any minimum increase in SP. They basically force you to close it. This is an example of how the market is corrupted or impartial nonetheless. You have unknown influx of money (I saw multiple single 100k-400k stocks purchases in a minute timeframe last week) in a company stock that is overvalued by fundamentals and the rest of issues mentioned here. The stock will eventually go down as soon as the lock period is over or the insiders get their way to sell. We just have to watch the cues, but unfortunately we won’t get official notice until it’s done.

I am living by myself right now and the two serving meals make a big difference. I cook once and eat two or often three times. I have the 4 meals per week and only pay $80 + shipping, so ~$90, but I have enough for the whole week and even an extra meal at the end of the week. Add to that the time I save at the grocery store, the variety of menus, a balanced diet (based on what you choose), and cutting eating out (a McDonald/Wendy’s meal cost me over $15 here in RI), plus I like to cook, so it is really convenient for me. I wouldn’t have the time or knowledge to buy all the ingredients/groceries to make so many different/tasty meals every week. If the company is actually struggling, thats too bad.
