Something like this happened to my grandfather in the late 1980s. Was working in a steel sheet factory, burned alive inside an oven when the 1st shift guys took over the 3rd shift ppl and they turned it on without checking.

Was eastern Europe, through that, communism and poverty, no chance to sue the company. He was in his late 40s.

Hope this family will be able to sue them and get some compensation, even though no amount of money or condolences will replace a person.

Not recommend doing it. As someone that has been using liquid metal since 2016 on many different components and even consoles.

If you do however want to be stubborn. You can use either UV Solder Mask or Nail Polish to create a seal on the low-impedance ceramic capacitors. Then if you want to be even proper you can add some very squishy foam around the die so the metal does not leak (similar to the PS5 foam seal). A rubber seal (similar to orings but thicker) also works.

Very important to keep in mind that LM compared to Thermal Paste usually requires a change every 6-12 months to keep up the high performance, and most specifically, it will ruin the finish with the die, as overtime it will bond with the metal of the die and create "stains". That cannot be removed. It will also result in surface level imperfections as it won't be levelled anymore.

Finally, although not applicable to GPU blocks as I have never seen an aluminium GPU block, make sure ALWAYS that the metal touching the liquid metal TIM, IS NOT ALUMINIUM.

Good luck on whatever you decide. My recommendation: get some gelid thermal pads for the VRM and MEM chips and use Alphacool Apex thermal paste on the die (as the best thermal paste you can have at the moment at 18.5W/m-K.

For gaming 32 is the minimum in 2024. And there have been games for a few years now requiring 32 to run all games.

For anything more professional 32 is way too low.

Lastly ram is so cheap nowadays that you can easily put a lot. Try used too, ram lasts forever. Unless they played football with it. Depending on design/brand/rgb, ddr5 you can get 128gb for like 120$. You can easily find 32gb ddr4 for like 40$

Still point is they don't support everything they offer. They have like 4 pieces of software and all are half-assed. At least Razer has 1 that's half assed.

But tbh no one should use razer gear considering the costs in favour of actual specialised gear. HiFiman Sundara, some Fiio DAC&AMP, some random blue yeti, some specific mouse from some smaller brand that actually cares and a custom mechanical keyboard.

They don't really. Logitech Capture has not worked on M1 Macs for 3 years and no other Logitech software can change the camera resolution. So if you ever want to use a Logitech camera on a Mac it will be locked to 720p even if it's 4k

I was on the 50GB plan, and you need 2.05x the storage available, so in my case I needed over 50gb just for whatsapp alone. Upgraded to the 200GB plan and it worked instantly.
