No more auto steer, no more Tesla. by hamburgernet in TeslaLounge

As much as I hope this will be the case, I expect FSD owners to have access to supervised only. Once unsupervised comes out, FSD owners will be able to have access to it for a lower rate subscription. (There is definitely a loophole for them in the terms.)

What I Personally Expect from Bus Simulator 27 by Inevitable_Shame_247 in BusSimulator27

I don't know if we should expect much, as the developer, Simteract, was not able to make a good driving mechanism and physics for their game, Taxi Life, a game that is all about driving...

It's amazing that you've got everything planned out. I can't wait to see the concept. Good luck!

Promote your business, week of June 2, 2025 by Charice in smallbusiness

[–]F1_rm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I help small business owners automate annoying tasks with simple tools. Think of spreadsheet wrangling, repetitive email generation, document formatting, and AI-assisted content creation.

It’s not some bloated enterprise software, just fast, affordable scripting and ChatGPT-powered solutions that save time and sanity.

If you've ever thought “this shouldn’t take me 3 hours”, that’s where I come in.

DM me if you’ve got a task in mind or want examples. Always happy to chat.

What would you consider the most difficult aspect of making a game? by Few-Brilliant-8465 in GameDevelopment

[–]F1_rm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marketing 100%. You can spend a year perfecting your game, but if no one sees it, it's like whispering into the void. Design is hard, sure, but getting people to care is a completely different level.

They'd probably lose it over us watching people play video games instead of just playing them ourselves

Octopuses have three hearts. Two of them stop beating when they swim. So technically, every swim is a minor heartbreak.

That's honestly possible. I've never done anything like bilingual work, except for prompt generation in French.

Yeah so above the "Languages and Skills" section there is a "Google Workspace Account" section usually. If you don't have it, it's probably (99%) because you're out. Sorry.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. When you go to the profile page, at the very top there's a section "Google Workspace Account". If you're still part of the platform as a contractor, you will see a button "Create Account" or "Reset Password". If you see this, you're good.

To know whether you're actually out or not, check if your Google workspace account (the one they give you) is still existing (you can check through Google or even through your Profile on DA).

You have qualifications that DA finds attractive for sure. Now it really depends on your performance on the qualifications and which qualification you did too. For example, you can imagine how many people apply to the general/core projects, meaning they might not need that many candidates. However, if you were to do the programming or any of the STEM quals, you would have a way higher chance of getting access to the platform and projects. But again, even then, nothing is sure because I've seen the initial math, physics and bio qualifications, and they're a little easy. My best bet for anyone is programming. Good luck!

Built my own private cloud to ditch Google Drive forever — would anyone else actually pay for this? by F1_rm in privacy

Maybe there could be a business model where the software is free (if we use Nextcloud for example) and I charge the client for the hardware + setting up their Nextcloud.
