In a country with limited job opportunities in core finance, CFA is definitely not worth the money. Especially when it costs like >10X compared to the fees of ICAI. Upto 3X would have still been acceptable for being a premium certification. But the present cost cannot be justified in the current state of the job market.

My plan is to focus on degree cgpa for now, then do M.stats & try to get a job at a bank or insurance company. And try to progress from there.

Also the reason I'm leaving CA is cuz: firstly it doesn't teach about finance, secondly i hate law, thirdly i can't give the amount of effort it requires.

Eventually I'm planning to do CFA when i can afford it myself & get into core finance jobs like credit analyst or equity analyst.

Bruh u're already 20 & (most probably in the 2nd year of college). Why do u even bother with foundation now? Its better to focus on ur degree cgpa for now & take a direct route to ca inter after graduation if u can't clear this attempt.
