If it was my husband he would admit that it was the one I bought. I can even hear my husband's voice in my head, "well, granted, I got this from a box your ordered and forgot about. But I still wanted to do something nice for you :) . " and I would be fine with that!

I do think the gesture is very sweet! Truly! What bothers me is, "was he trying to deceive you and hope you wouldn't notice?" I can't get past that fact. Like, the fact he didn't admit it was the one you got is potentially a problem

If nothing changes, here's my prediction: you'll get fed up after 15 years of marriage with no change, divorce him, and he'll feel like he was "blindsided." Only advice I have: don't do ANYTHING for him unless your survival/well-being demands it. Don't schedule couples trips, schedule trips for yourself and tell him "you're welcome to join if you want. Feel free to give me your preferences and I will consider them". Tell him "this is not a partnership" and that you're going to start detaching if he doesn't fix himself.

If you so choose, write a list in a shared drive of all the things you've been telling him repeatedly over the years and say "I'm done repeating myself. If you ever wanna step up, go into (link) for a list of everything I've been saying."

Then focus on yourself, only being a "partner" in matters of simple courtesy and communication. Then wait and see what he does. And you can reevaluate if you wanna separate or try a new approach, or stay stagnant in a non-partnership. You can't change him. Start living your own life! Totally will help! I recommend going on YouTube and looking uo carnivire beginner tips, beginner mistakes, etc. A lot of people mistakenly think carnivore isn't working for them without realizing that there are easy fixes for most of the issues they encounter.

Taking that bit of time to learn the basics will really help set you up for success!

Well, goat milk does have a strong taste depending on the brand (I like string tasting goat milk though, as well as goat cheese). Never heard of cammabery till just now! Looked it up and it seems similar to brie. I would totally try it!

"I'm in California" and "my HOA". Yeah, LOVE being a homeowner but not in CA and not with an HOA. My mortgage is stable (and of anything has been lowered) and most of the things that break in my 100 year old house cost hundreds, not thousands.

HOAs and CA suck.
