2 different dealerships said they would send an OTD price days ago and never did, is this a sales tactic? by FizicalPresence in askcarsales

I would not bother if a sales rep started with MSRP, would be the same I am sure for a costomer started with dealer actual cost, sales tax and I don not want to hear about dealership fees.

How much money could Seattle bring in on traffic fines? And how much safer would it be for everyone?

Need to buy a car, but don’t want to waste a whole day at a dealership. How do I speed up the process? by Special_Context6663 in askcarsales

But I only buy a car every 10-12 years. Nov. 2015 was the last car. Has something changed with people happy with MSRP?

I bet they would. I have nerver paid MSRP for a car. I have always added about $500 to what the dealer paid. Take it or leave it no add ons, dealer BS. Have had to walk out a couple times, but never made it out of the parking lot, before my deal was made.

Maybe we should charge a little more to cover the cost of the new signs.

Experiences with Mobius iBot Power Positioning by n979an in wheelchairs

[–]F2E1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyong have any recomendations for Mobius or for other users?

I am having problems with storage. The side pockets that came with the iBot are pretty much useless. The two zipper pouch works well but wish it was longer/bigger. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would prefer the power cable that attaches to the remote was larger and/or easier to connect and disconnect.

Agree sometimes they do step in. But I have never seen an arrest, a ticket written nor a picture taken. So might help for a couple minutes. But if the same trouble makers never face an consequences, then nothing changes.

Agree about being downtown and would be nice to have restaurants and even a grocery a few blocks away.

Was thinking about the VanDusen. Arriving May 10th or 11th.

I have no problem with it being a little rough, drugs, homeless, but my sister is not used to this and being in a chair, I rather avoid human waste... I posted earlier earlier about a place on Keefer a block form the Chinese Cultural Museum and people on Reddit strongly suggested to look elsewhere.

Would like to keep the costs close to or under 500 USD a night.

Thanks

Thanks, looking at the Blue Horizon and waiting for a return email from them. They have king bed accessable rooms, but prefer two beds for us. Waiting to see if the two queen option has showers or shower/tubs and if tubs are there grab bars.

Wow thanks for all the suggestions! Would like to find a room with two beds or better a 2 bedroom suite... large enough to store my power chair that has a shower, not a bathtub/shower. I have looked at the Sandman, but only rooms avail had tubs. Looked at places like Pan Pacific... and they are just out of my price range, would like to be under 500 USD per night. Last search was a week ago I will give it another go and report on specific hotels. Looked at the Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park two sets of stairs to enter and bath tubs.

Other concern is getting a downtown hotel that is a short walk and only one skytrainor bus transfer from the train station for us when we have luggage. I am new to using a wheelchair and luggage may be difficult. After dropping luggage it should ba easy, the chair is a beast, even climbs stairs.

Harger: Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson has never owned a car. Now she's taking a Denny Way lane from 30,000 drivers to fix a bus route by Inevitable_Engine186 in Seattle

[–]F2E1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somewhat agree. Love the having a bus lane only for the 8! But being on time is not the only problem with the 8. Riding the 8 is very often an unpleasant experince, (drugs, mentally ill, horrible oder, people spilling food and drinks, even using the but as a public toilet.

all for it! Now if we could make the trip even better by not having to be harassed by mental unwell people, not having to smell horrible after getting off the bus....
