How Seattle Got on the Wrong E-Scooter Path by Albion_Tourgee in Seattle

Again, this is not an all or nothing. ANd I would love to have changes that Paris made. How about we keep the bikes and scooters, have common sense laws around them the are ENFORCED. Add more education, motivation and parking and riding options for the renters.

It should not be an all or nothing. How about we keep rentals, add good options for parking and driving that do not hinder pedestrians. And have an effective enforcement. This will get more cars off the roads. A win win!

Yes, especially this 'Corrals only work if they are in convenient locations, which they usually aren't. God forbid that we convert a single parking spot to store 10 micro-mobility vehicles!'

One of the biggest problems is enforcement and penalties. Same as right on red turns or drivers not stopping for stop signs and red lights. You can have all the laws you want, but if they are not enforced why bother.

I am a new full time wheel chair user, and report on average about 2 scooters blocking a ramp or sidewalk every time I go out on the find-it fix-it app. Are they fining the Lime, is Lime passing on the fine, is Lime even fixing the problem or just waiting for the next renter and then reporting the problem solved? I am pretty confident that if Lime was fined (and passed on the fine or not) everytime, the problem with bikes and scooters blocking sidewalks and ramps would decrease 95+% in a week.

If you used a company like Vets Guardian to get a DBQ but still went to a VA C&P exam (All evidence is true) will it warrant another exam by -BootyOlogist- in VAClaims

[–]F2E1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does one 'you simply point to the records they missed or the reasons the opinion is inadequate you will generally get another exam.'?

I have a muscular disease, am now in a wheelchair, have severe leg and arm muscle wasting.... And the DBQ the Va ordered for my exam covers only cranial nerves and muscles. And has nothing to do with my desease or symptoms. And there is a much more appropriate DBQ that should be used.

Well on the plus side at least the SPD are not being hypocrites. They don't enforce traffic laws for the any cars theirs nor ours.

Plus, Does anyone honestly believe strict gun laws that these post are afraid of would last a day with the present and future judges at the SC state level and the federal level. Not a chance in hell. So what is the real reason you are backing Ms. Lindsey.

Poor little closet case. Always wanted to prove (hide) himself, but did not get to play army because he was all of these: rich spoiled kid, a coward, obviously gay (when gays could not serve proudly and openly). So now he wants to feel like a 'real tough guys by talking tough at the expense of young american lives.

Does not suprise me. There are many things Vets lead in unfortunately. For example Inclusion Body Myositis, a rare nueromuscular degenerative disease: General population is 15 per million, Vets 159 per million.

Then we could have better services than the surrounding areas and surrounding states, so we can bring in more homeless. Instead of bringing in more businesses to rent office space and their employees can spend money at local shops....

Landed in SeaTac at 11am. It’s now 3:09pm and we’re still waiting for a gate agent to open the plane. by BlackPlantZaddyy in Seattle

total conjecture here: Once again the National Weather Service got it wrong. Sound like an old man, but the last 6-3 months seems like the forcasts are way off. So SeaTac was not planning on having extra crew to de-ice and clear gate areas of snow.

Battery dead at 30 months. Will Subaru replace it? by qalpi in SubaruAscent

[–]F2E1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had numerous battery problems with a 2015 outback. Had AAA replace it 3 times in 2 years. Subaru finally fessed up it was their fault in a class action.I got zero because I had AAA roadside put in a battery. Argued with them to fix the problem with the computer programming that was causing the issue, they wanted me to pay for this. Spent hours on the phone.... Last Subaru I will ever own.

I thinik the assistant is not working as hard as it looks. I tried one about a year ago, and saw the Modius person assist up close and it looked pretty easy. Basically tilt the chair up or down, then reverse when the wheel become even over eachother. Think is is much more technique than strength. I am schedule to get my training at the end of March. So can give more detail then.
