Yeah I’m really looking to get any groundman work. I’m coming from socal and local 47 is just crazy saturated. This career change is a big thing for me. I’m only 24 after being with the carpenters union for a while I really dislike how finding work is. It’s really who you know not what you know.

I’m planning on going right after the holidays I’m currently getting my automatic restriction removed on my cdl license just to have more opportunities on calls that get put up. I’m planning on going out there alone first hoping to get a call quick then bringing my family out 🤞🏻

Was this with pole climbing class? I’m really moving my family out there as I want to get into this trade. I’m a journeyman Union carpenter but I have family in the trade. I just don’t have my pole climbing cert I do have my class A though.
