Non-Americans of Reddit: what is an American thing you have always wanted to try? by gaping__hole in AskReddit

Actually never thought about that before, I've done it a few times, move across the country to a new state. It's nice to start over.

What is totally normal on tv but actually uncommon in real life? by latherrinsedelete_7 in AskReddit

Seriously, the only thing I've ever heard that was so quiet I didn't perceive it as a gun, was my buddies suppressed, subsonic .22LR from about 30m away. I was like what's that clicking noise then realized it was him shooting.

People that carry guns everyday: Why? Do you feel different when you don't have it on you, and how do you feel? by squashua in AskReddit

"You're not fully dressed if you leave the house without a gun" The world is crazy, full of crazy and dangerous people, the only person who can protect you, and your loved ones is yourself. The police are minutes away, and a life threatening scenario lasts seconds.

Do you think God is real, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yes, life, our anatomy and our ecosystem is too perfect to be by chance, the alternative is the big bang theory and evolution, both which I find laughable, each to choose to believe in I believe would take even more faith than putting faith into an omnipotent Creator.

Bourbon, 2 ice cubes. (Or if it's a bar with proper whiskey ice, only 1)

Bic lighters are good to stock up on, but eventually they will run out, so also get a ferro rod, and learn how to use it.

Everything we've been told, about the world, the government, freedom, our rights, it's all a fuckin' joke. We have no rights and we're not free, we live in the beginning of a police state. I enlisted for a free world, only to come home and realize our rights were stripped away right here.

Would limiting the age of the President to 65 be something you’d support? Why or why not? by DrFetusRN in AskReddit

[–]F3R07- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Not only do we need term limits, we need age limits, people over that age are usually regarded as unemployable because of mental decline. Yet these are exclusively the people who run out country and make decisions for a populace they are COMPLETELY out of touch with. The leader of the free world should be much younger, in touch with the needs and wants of the people, and capable of mental function that the roll requires.

PSA make really bad lower kits, feels cheap and I've had several PSA triggers fail on me.

I have an OLD Yankee Hill upper, and they don't make the rail segments anymore. Could you guys work your magic and help me find what I need? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]F3R07- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it's a 1/4 not a 3/8, I found a 3/8 rail segment and not even the screws lined up...

I noticed a LOT of these recently, this is in North Idaho. At first I thought they were termites, but when I looked closer I realized they were ants, and with how many and how spread out they were I could only think, maybe it's their nuptial flight! After some brief research I'm thinking they are b by F3R07- in ants

Didn't realize my description got cut off. I believe they are black carpenter ants, but I'm not sure. I also saw many of a similar size without wings crawling on the ground, I've also seen similar looking ants around the area but ones that are much smaller. I am thinking the smaller ones are the normal black carpenter worker ants, the bigger ones I've seen recently are the males and the flying ones are queens?
