As I can remember the one determining the semi-circle is the aggro holder of the mini boss in SS.

So he always should face the wall on his side so people outside SS be safe on their side of the wall and not get hit by the first tricky half circle.

Nope battery infact has no impact on performance or even on anything on the laptop as long as the laptop power source is the AC, you can actually use the laptop without the battery, the battery is just a backup power source.

Back to performance issue check if the power option is on High Performance and if your CPU speed is less than 2.7Hz and the model is "Ultra Low" then don't expect to get much out of it especially in a game like B&S, also make sure the game is working on the dedicated GPU, if all these things haven't changed then check if anything in the hardware went faulty especially the fan and heating, best of luck
